As for guard dogs It would all depend on what you want but most important where do you live and who do you live with or who comes to your house do you have kids little brother sisters a grandma ect ! Do want a super driven dog that’s need to worked for atleast 1 a day like Belgian Malinious remember that dog don’t give a fuck if you just worked a 12 hour shift and your kids had practice that dogs is going to want to be worked or they get I trouble .. want something that needs less work French mastif but huge and may have health isssues .. a dog is a serious commitment that’s so many shelters are full people don’t know what they are getting into .. Ben BrockStan said it perfect study the dogs you like for atleast a year learning even thing you can vaccination worming health genetics and traits vet can be expensive learn your ivomec dosing the learning never stops ! Find a breeder of the breed you like.. ask them why they did the breeding and what the purpose was besides money hopefully you can meet the parents and talk to people have also purchased dogs from them if possible .. even then nothing is promised .. I can go on and on this is what I had to do not by choice only because no 1 wanted to give a dog lmfao ... I’m glad it happen that way
