    Hey all.

Earlier i had made a post regarding this dry skin, which was hard for you guys to give me feedback at, since it´s hard for me to explain this, and hard for you to understand. But now ive finally got some pictures.

She has this brownly, redly dry skin at her stomach, above her pussy. Also she has something on her right frontleg and around her pussy. The one at the leg & pussy looks the same. She is scratching her self a lot, and biting etc. cause it might be itchy, but dont know if it is this that triggers it.

The picture with her pussy, look at the right hand point-figner (lawl:D) its very dark in that area. Its not "shadow", but the same as with her leg.

Can someone help me with this? Is it "dangerous" or what ? And how can i treat it.

    Best regards

What you mean by "my vet said Celestoderm-V with Garamycin" what is celestoderm-v and garamycin? Where to get, and how to feed her?

But you sais it is a food problem. Should i give her different food then or?
Im giving her Pedigree Dry Food (Puppy) Atm.

lt's cream and you buy it at the pharmacy,it's for human use.
The markings on the pics look exactly like my pups, the cream is not harmfull try it or if your not sure visit your vet.You can also try a another brand of kibble for a few days and see how it works.

Another trick would be some inexpensive Vitamin E capsules. Open up the capsule and pour the liquid on the spot and rub it in. Add a teaspoon of vegetable oil to the kibble as well.
Do not overbathe her. Too many baths will make her dry out more.

Well thanks for all the great response fellows.

Briarpatch: Well, how do i figure out what is more quality of that im already using? They all say they are the best etc, etc. Any suggestions? I think it is difficult to select your kibble. But i have used the same i use now since i got her. So might be it? But i wont start raw diet feeding before she is 12 months old, so i gotta figure out what kibble to use tho. The problem is that i live in Denmark, so it should be boughtable here in denmark as well :p

Wisconsingame: Well, isnt bath ruining her fat in her skin? Or is it only the shampoo that ruins it? And how often should i bath her then? I havent bath her yet, since i got her. And i got her from the 8th week.

Well actually today i was starting putting vegatable oil in her food, so wonder if that help. 2 spoons once a day as i was told. Correct?

Scooter: I am already putting cream at her stomach. The wound at her legs, i dont know where that is from. Maybe scratched from something, dno.

Vitamin E is not just a cream. It comes in a little pill that you poke a hole in and the Vitamin E comes out like an oil.

read the ingredients on the food. any foods that contain meat by products or corn or wheat should be avoided...try diamond naturals or purina PRO PLAN puppy formula..the lamb and rice version.

Well, i am using dry food with rice and chicken - shouldnt that be good?

So if there is meat, corn, wheat in it, i should avoid it? What is wheat in other words?'

Scooter: Never heard of a pill that you should poke a hole into and then some oil comes out of it? Hmm.. Im dumb now or?

no..MEAT BY PRODUCTS..specificmeat like CHICKEN or LAMB or BEEF or FISH is fine but if it says chicken by products or such..ya need to avoid it...what you are feeding needs to be switched.

No joke. It is a real pill kinda amber colored and it is filled with liquid Vitamin E. It is good for dry skin in humans, dogs, cats etc. It is just called Vitamin E. It's a big pill too.

My bet is it's a allergic reaction to the food.

my pup also has the same problem, i always thought it was from the grass but after reading this i figured it might be from the food,
yesterday i bought a shampoo made for itchy skin i havent tryed it out yet but i will let u kno how it works. i am gonna start rubbing in vitamin E cream,
also if your dog is allergic to the grass i heard its good to get a towel, n put it in cool water then rub it where the dog is itchy as it get rid of all the pollen on the dog from the plants
