I have here one awesome foster dog. He is from Muskegon Animal Control and was picked up loose and running with two
other dogs. Sadly his owner actually came down, looked at her very now sick (stress and kennel cough) dog
and said "well yup that is Virgil and my dogs " and left them on death row .
I was called in to evaulate him as "there is just something about him" and even tho on death row, our volunteers
just didnt want to kill him for being a pit bull. So I busted him out.. l o l .
Virgil is one hell of a pit bull. He is very much a "pet-pit bull" in that he is one hell of a strong little dog,
has drive that was probably allowed to grow under no supervision, for his drive is all about sticks and squirrels.
I have worked on his patience with his sticks, and he now will play with a tug and toys.
Squirells forget about it, he will do anything at all cost to get evil critter. (including leaping over any size fence or climbing those he cant leap over)
Every human he meets is his long lost best friend. He tolerates other dogs just fine, but is more focused on his humans.
My foster pit bulls are homed near to me, no flying or far away. I train all dogs into your home and help problem shoot any thing that comes up with your dog in your home. All dogs come with a 2-4 week trial period to be sure
    dog and home match.
Sorry, my dogs are to be indoor dogs, and yes I do check up on them post adopted. (no offense to outdoor dogs, its just the way of me and my rescue, these dogs are homed as pets)

This is not your average pet, this is one hell of a dog. I am horribly in love with him but have a house full of foster dogs , and it isnt my job to keep even those I fall madly in love with.
I want him to find a home that UNDERSTANDS pit bulls, their drive,
their strength and their never ending love of their human companions.
