Well when a dog wants something bad enough sometimes they get it! I just lost a cur and a gamedog in the mix! It would be no different if they had been tested in the box! But we can't do this because of the animal laws! TDATFG

Sorry to hear your loss. I got "lucky". One of my males got off his collar, ate it, then made his way over to the kennel'd dogs (i only have them in kennels because of the way my yard is, plus they do good in them). The kennels are a few feet apart from each other, so while he proceeded to pull one dogs face through the fence, the other chewed on his ass through the kennel.
I came home to two kennels full of blood, and a missing dog. Thank god he didnt go after the horses. He was laying down in the hay pile, sick from eating his collar and like 5 pounds of grain!!
I got him to throw up alot of grain, but no collar. He wasnt hurt, except for a chewed ass, so i cleaned him up and inspected the other dogs. One had a rip'd open face, but wasnt critical, and the others were fine.
My vbk male was damn lucky being on a chain that was enclosed by fencing, otherwise i think he would have be a goner (the male that got out is 52 pounds and bites like as SOB, and this male is young and 32 pounds).

Anyway, the collar ended up coming out, and the dogs ended up ok. I think if the two males he went after were on the chain that day, i would have lost some too.

I think when my bf put him back on the chain, he didnt put the collar through the keepers, and he got the end in his mouth and worked it off. This dog is a damn hoodini, i am EXTRA careful with this one, he can find his way out of anything!

  9. Had a bitch pull an axle right up out of the ground about 2 years ago tryin to get at a male we were watchin for a buddy. This mean bitch yanked it up out of the ground sometime in a 30 minute period from when I chained him up out near her. Anyways, she got off....and I owed my buddy a new dog.
