Whats Your Opinion on the Stimulas plan and the Bailouts

Yes here we are,, Now about to recieve a big ol stimulas check and i was just wondering what ya'lls opinions on these squandered bailouts and these economic booster we are all going to get.

my opinion is they shouldnt have messed in the free markets, let bad business go broke and make some other ppl rich instead of the rich getting richer and poor getting poorer. This stimulas is going to be a joke 1000 dollars for a married couple, WTF??? what the hell they want me to stimulate with that:rolleyes:.
but they gave wall street billions,, see what kind of country we live in.

From the outside looking in, it looks like your country has self combusted.

You all are effectivly just working as slaves for the government for money that isnt wort the ink to print it now!. A stimulas check wont save it, why, because most things people would buy would be imported from other countries.... right. so you are really only paying tax.

All you need to do is lock up the country and be rid of importing for a decade, manufacture everything you need at home. Its the free trade that killed you guys and it is killing all who followed, every one who protested against free trade were labled as disturbed 'Commies" well guess what they were talking about lmao, did anyone listen? hell no because there was money to be made LMAO.... money has a value but that value is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. and no-ones going to buy yours for a hell of a long time.

 

I really think you hit real close on what you said here in my opinion. between that and GREED that staggard the economy obviously. Just like gasoline , wall street run the price through the roof and when it all collaped they stuck they're hand out. Hey what i dont understand is why some of these CROOKS dont go to jail for what they have done. they would throw me in jail and throw away the key if it was a working man

 

You are right on the target. the usa is so Fued up now. I wont be shocked if we end up in a civle war. Our goverment is taking over and all people care about is getting a damn check for a few hunderd meanwhile our kids will pay our bill. no one seems to think about that. This shit has never worked befor but it will now just because our new GOD said so. BULL$%^T.

to me capitalism means the rich get richer and the poor stays poor or gets even poorer with the BETTER business coming out on top! let those banks and auto makers go out of business. why? because we as a country need to step up and innovate. instead of handing cash to those big corporate junkies, give ALL the stimulis to the people so THEY can pay for their houses. if they are able to pay for stuff...those bank and auto makers will get the money because WE are buying!! give free handouts to the corporates will result in a 2-3 yr boom with a huge crash as we are suffering right now!

 

alot of banks actually are NOT taking the bailout money-jus tlike Ford didnt take any-because of the stipulations that come with it.
i havent heard anything as of late about the personal stimulus checks or anything of that sort...the first one didnt do anything, neither will a second...or third...or....

 

Well, I'd have to say that these "bailouts" are a last ditch effort for the rich in our country to wring what they can out of us before all hell breaks loose.
Sad thing is, our constitution states that as american citizens we are duty bound to, ..."When this government quits serving it's purpose, which is for the people, and begins to usurp it's authority for it own selfish ends, then the people shall overthrow this government and start a new."

Now we have allowed the government to grow so large that we cannot do what the constitution states we must. You have seen a few groups of people try and ban together and not even trying to overthrow the government, and our fbi destroyed them.

Also, have you seen that Russia and Iran, and Russia and Venezuela have been having secret talks, and how Russia has stated that they will be the next superpower in the world? They are making alliances with these oil producing countries who do not like us, and will try and break our backs. Gas prices have dropped, so the focus is not so strong on us becoming energy independent, so we are setting ourselves up.
Then we must look at what is happening in Israel. Such a small piece of earth, but the whole world has their eyes on them. As their neighbors chant "From the Jordan to the Sea", we, as their ally's, with our liberal mindset are so sick of war that we will simply watch and not help.

I believe that God will defend Israel, and I also believe that God is sick of what we do here. With all the abortions, with our whole nation embracing homosexuality, with everyone trying to say there is no God, with so many calling evil good, and good evil, we are gona reap as a nation what we have sown, and every one of you know we have sown some horrible things out of our selfishness, and our greed. I do believe that it is not that very far off from the Lord's return, and I also believe that in our country the real church will be persecuted.

Now, that's what I think of the bail out and everything else that is going on.

The stimulus check could work, if the money actually went to stimulate the economy. What they are proposing would not. Honey bee insurance, contraceptives, TV converter boxes, government fleet vehicles, etc...Do I really need to go on? Put the money the tax payers should have had all along back into their pockets and let us Americans do what we do better than anyone else: innovate, consume, and build businesses to run this country. Allow small businesses to get some tax cuts since they make up the majority of all businesses and see people start getting hired. "His" cabinet is gonna send up up sh*t creek with a boat full of holes and no paddle if they don't get their heads out of their whazoos.

I'm with you on this, They have handed out money to wall street while main street has fell on its face,,, WTF??? where the hell do they get off not helping the ppl but they will help these fuc;s that have blew the majority of the money,,,

 

I don't think the banks should've gotten one cent. They made their bed, let them lie in it. The govmt should have given each adult $50,000 to purchase a home or make their payments. That would've sold the empty homes and helped others keep theirs. That would've been an immediate boost to the economy and the banks. It probably would've been cheaper too.

I'm not asking for a handout but I'll take the check, it'll help pay my taxes lol. Everyone in my family is unemployed, its getting really bad and something has to change. I don't think this will help in the longterm though.

The auto industry is a different story. They are going green and making cuts but how can they sell cars when even people with good credit can't get financed? Ford has had flex fuel cars since the 90s and people don't care, they want their big trucks and suvs and the ability to bitch about gas prices.

 

you know what gets me,,,,, everyone you talk to out here is in the same boat as everyone else,,, and what have they done for any of us,,,, nothing but talk big talk about bailing us out,,, where have they helped us yet? they haven't,,,

My opinion? IT'S WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION...simple and plain. It goes against everything this Country was founded on. It disgusts me...and I am one of the ones who would "benefit" from it. As much as I could use it, I simply have a problem spending OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY.

im with jrspits, instead of giving the auto industry 70 billion or what ever they gave them. they could have gave everyone in America $50,000 and let us buy what we wanna buy thats how you boost an economy. why not put that money in hospitals, so we have free health care. why not put the money into colleges and universities, so the kids that cant afford an education could actully continue their education. i mean really everyone can vouch for this the stimulus check is going toward a bill correct!? and think about it give the auto makers money to make more new cars, for what we cant but the old ones that have been sitting on the lots for the past 3-4 years. why not give every family in America a car! we have homeless people in America do they get a stimulus check? im also with purplepig we have sown some awful seeds and we will reap what we have sown!! now with that said bring on the check i got bills to pay!!

the only real money in America is Illegal Tender, tax free!! why not the Government does it!!

 

Maybe Obama should keep nominating people so we can pay for the stimulus plan with the back taxes they owe.

 

actually-that is a popular misconception. even using a more realistic number like $10K-most people would not spend it, but save it because of the fear of uncertainty.
