I'm new here and searching for options on a quality mill. Besides the dogtrotter, who else makes quality slatmills in the US?

    Thanks in advance

Gambler makes very nice ones as does the Colby family. I'm sure there are alot more out there in the states but these 2 pop in my head first because both are of exceptional quality. Gamber is a member here, I think he goes by G-Force.

  3. We make a carpet mill which is excellent for the dog and QUIET!

    K9 Fitness online store

Please email me at K9Fitness@att.net or call 832-30-K9FIT if you have questions.

Here's a video of our blue pit running on it.

No disrespect but I only want a slatmill and I already know G-Force is the maker of the Dog Trotters. Any other options for US slatmill makers?

So get Gamblers basic model without the "bells and whistles"...that is all you really need and the quality is uncomparable!

  6. you should ask people who have used our K9 treadmill. I promise that it runs smoother than a slat mill. Also the incline is adjustable, and the belt tension is to boot. We take a mill with us to all the events we attend so everybody can test it out.

mine is top notch over 10 years & still works fine. just because you had a bad experience with yours don't mean they are bad.

It is a nice mill, nicer than most, and it is rather expensive.

Some have so many bells and whistles at some point there is the discussion of 'are we working the dog or are we talking about the mill'...if that makes sens.

I saw one a few months ago made by a guy (I think in SC) and he goes by John Deere. The mill was like $750 maybe $800 and worked as good as any mill I have ever seen. Great quality and great skill and great craftsmanship. If I were buying a mill I would shop there first.

Vicki has one of the best working mills to build a dog up in my opinion there is! It's for sale for a fair price, but I may buy it myself!

    Post pics and/or videos.

I will pretend that I am not too cheap to pay for a mill in order to see a dog being worked. LOL
