    Thanks!

I was too focused on the trail to feel any pain LOL on these types of trails HELMET is a MUST and yes in the shadow you can see my helmet cam. I used my GO-PRO cam on r5 setting.

YES they are purpose built trails. For the sole purpose of Mountain biking LMAO, we do get hikers out there from time to time hence the BELL LOL. It is very tough terrain only the hard core hikers dare trek these far up the mountains.

Thanks AGame, I'm hard up for money so I will do that LOL

    nice cam

I just sold my 06 8500ZR with a Fox RL Fork.

    Now I have Scott Hybrid

I dont have a helmet but also just stay on manicured trails. I wish I had trails like those around me. Thats why I sold my Trek, too good of a bike for what I do.

What kind of bike do you have?

you are probably going to laugh. its a hard tail, 2000 Raleigh M80 with Marzocchi Atom Bomb 80mm fork, XTR cantelever brakes, XTR hubs on 517, Kore Stem, Thomson Elite seat post, everything else is stock. It kicks ass, I've used and abused this bike like you wouldn't believe. Love my hard tail, I've ridden full suspension but unless you are doing some hard core downhill or huge drops it's useless IMO of course. I mostly ride XC and commute to work and school............... I know I know i should get me a new bike, but until I break the frame I am riding this baby to the ground LMAO

wow I never would have thought a Raliegh would be caught out in those trails. I have never had a full suspension. The front fork suspension is good enough. My friend has the New Cannondale Lefty 29er hard tail and that thing just rolls over anything. You would have laughed if you would have seen me on that 8500 zr on manicured trails.

My Raleigh is good all around bike, I've raced a couple of seasons on it and placed. some very upset competitors get'n passed by a guy on an o'l Raleigh LOL. I am looking into upgrading to a YETI "Big Top" (29er), single speed but that's gonna be a while. but hey, whatever you ride as long as you and your bike can take it, its all about having a good time LOL.

I am working on other MTB videos, some real nice areas to ride around here.

I don't know where Raleigh headquarters is located, good bike and underrated. Specialized, Cannondale, Trek, OVERRATED. LOL

Synno I disagree with you. I think you are one hell of a rider and you will make any bike look good. Put you on a bike that weighs less than half the weight of your bike yet is stronger while being more absorbent and the bike will go forward more instead of up and down. You will be alot faster with alot less energy. I also think that your fun trails, as depicted in your vid, are a more difficult than Training courses of others. These new 29 ers are super light and they are specifically engineered to keep more energy Moving forward, they just roll (once you get them going). and lefty forks will absorb more with less and are lighter too. Try a 29 er with a lefty. Just don't look at the fork. I think you'll be impressed with how much the bike does with little exerted energy.

:0047: you'd make a hell of a bike salesman LOL. Thanks for the compliment and You are absolutely correct, although I don't like the cannondales myself I am looking into upgrading into a 29er.

What's up with the attraction of single speed? I'm hearing that alot lately and also guys taking $3k complete bike and modding them into 3 speeds. I don't understand. Maybe shaving off a couple ounces and less room for error. I don't know

Attraction for single speed? It's been popular for years, back in my racing days they had a single speed category and i'm talking about 12 years ago LOL . It's always been popular with the hard core mountain bikers its not so much the weight savings I think its just not dealing with gears, you definitely need to have some strong legs to pound on them pedals LOL. some set-ups i've see are two chain rings in front with 10 ring cassette, or 1 ring in front with 10 ring cassette the options are there its just depends on your riding style.

What is really popular here now due to high gas prices is, people are taking beach cruisers and installing weed eater engines in'em. check it out, they are street legal and can pick up speeds of up to 25 mph but they dont need to be registered, oh yea i forgot to mention they can cover 150 miles on one full tank LOL . Here is a video. you can try and putting a kit on your hybrid LOL

That is fucking awesome as long as you lived to tell about it. I once had a similar experience but on a steeper incline at the Front Range Foothills southeast of Denver, except that I had the added danger of a drop off to my left. I was literally flying down a hill rarely touching the gravel to be able to maintain control over the deirection in which I was going. At one point when I knew that it was either let go or suffer the consequenses of hanging on, I chose to jump off and land on my ass as my feet slid up from under me, but my Trekk landed about 50 feet forward and 50 feet down through the tree, deadwood, and rock riddled drop off from where i slid. Funny shit, at least my bike ws still ridable enough to get off the hill without having to drag a heap of aluminun.

I live on the beach and everyone here has cruisers. Bike shop here installs electric or gas whichever you choose for $300. 2 stroke oil injected just add gas. or you can purchase motor on a new bike for $400-$1,500.

Cops here check for biking under influence of alcohol so a motorized bike would be even worse if busted... We had a bike bar crawl and the motorized guys were having a blast.

I'd love to have me one of these motorized bikes since gas is so high to ride mostly during the summer i probably will end up getting one soon as the weather warms up maybe the kit and throw it on something random but yea if you dont have very far to go these are awesome
