Welcome to the site, im new as well. I've been breeding APBT's for 12 years. Why do half of your dogs look soo skinny, and what is with the bite marks on a few of them. Maybe its cause its a different country and different style of breeding, but thats not what my show pits look like. Can I ask what you compete in?

Kasey1987 How does their dogs look to skinny? they seem to fine in my eyes some look conditioned.

 

How can you not see a skinny dog? I can see the backbones, ribs and hip bones on at least 3 of those dogs. Thats not what i consider a healthy and nice looking dog. :confused:

 

Correction.....on two dogs. Lila and Point. Those are not good looking dogs in my eye. Not enough body fat. They're all bones, and Lila looks slightly overbred.

 

Overbred ok. As far as hip bones I don't see them pertruding then majority of peoples posting conditioned dogs on here is to lean for your tatse. Imo they look fine? Not to sure what standard your going off of bully? Ukc adba.....

 

I have UKC bred American Pitties. However, I do not breed the "image" pit bull as most of the kennels are doing nowadays. Not overweight, low and heavy dogs. In my opinion the dogs are too skinny, however you did make a good point, its most likely just my taste. I didnt mean to sound as if i was bashing the kennel. Nice to know that there are more people out there that love the breed.

 

Kasey, many (not all) UKC APBT are actually closer to Amstaff standard than APBT. I have seen a few UKC APBT that do look like APBT, i.e. Bahamutt's dogs. However, the majority I have seen look much more Amstaffish than APBTish. That makes a big difference in appearance. I haven't seen your dogs, so, I am just talking about the ones I've seen.

 

Enjoy your Staffs. You might take a minute after you pull your head out of your ass and realize that there is more then one standard of a REAL APBT. There are the ADBA standard and the AADR standard as well. Maybe I should start showing my dogs UKC so I don't have to work them into shape at all. Kasey, the dogs look great. Read up on "conditioned" vs. "Underfed". The dog Point in particular looks great. Very lean and well-muscle.

What the hell is a American Pittie?. American Pittie?. This sh** makes me sick..
You might not "breed for the image" ( in my opinion you shouldnt be breeding at all) but by looking at your dogs spiked harness you are trying to portray some kind of image
