Wasnt there a thread on her about this lady. Didnt she save the poor dog? I could be wrong.

Well, if you consider dog-theft of a crippled 19 year old dog, who needs to be with its family in its final hours "saving that poor dog", I guess. The fact of the matter is, if the situation was SO bad that it warranted her stealing it (and still not giving it back) then AC should of been involved. Of course, that doesnt make headlines or fans happy, so she went renegade style, stole the dog, hid it, made herself out to look like a martyr for breaking the law,and is now asking for donations. Hmmm....wonder whats really going on.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to 14rock again.

I tried bro. Here is a thought. You and I restore old cars right! Ok so I find one setting in someones yard that is for its age. Lets say a 1920 model that is still running, tired and burns a little ole but is still on the original paint job and motor. Exhaust leaks a bit. I take that car claim to have saved it from blowing the motor and what not. I get busted but stashed the car in a barn in Texas or some place. So I ask you to bail me out and pay my fines. That is what it looks like to me. Hell that car was just fine for the owner I am betting. and so was that old dog. After all 133 is like a world record for a German Shepherd isn't it!

Well I guess if the lady actually stole the dog and hid it she is wrong for it, but I thought the dog was left chained to the tree to die. I heard the dog had not moved for days and the neighbors were worried about it too. Why let the last days of the dogs life be lonely, hot, and tied to a damn tree?

My guess as to whats really going on is the dog is likely dead. Can't get donations for a dead dog.

    Please please please please...

Do not mistake theft for rescue or a theif for a savior. I used to be a DDB rep, I volunteered back when I knew little of the distinction between animal welfare and animal rights. I stayed with DDB for just under 2 years...I hung with it because I felt I could help dogs in my area who may benefit from fencing provided by or partially provided by DDB. My involvement in APBT advocacy combined with my profession as a horse trainer eventually guided me to see this group as it really is: radical Animal Rights. When Tammy stole the dog I decided to call it quits with them for good, and speak out as to why I made my decision. This group is now trying to formulate a plan to make this a landmark case to set a precedent which would allow any "animal rescuer" or "concerned citizen" to "intervene" in "cruelty cases". If Tammy does not get convicted, the legal doors will swing wide open allowing animal rights to engage in vigilante justice. This is SCARY!!!
Not only will we see dogs disappearing from backyards in the name of "rescue" (thus exacerbating the shelter/rescue animal population), we can expect a pre-teen or two (donning a PETA and a DDB button of course) to get shot while trespassing on private property. After she was arrested she sent out tons of emails urging all the reps to contact every news station they knew of to report and support her side of the story. The public is now being duped into thinking she was commiting a completely selfless act and was wrongfully punished. THEFT AND TRESPASS IS NOT OKAY, and cannot be protected by this new legislation they are trying to pass.
She could have called 911 if all else failed. She chose not to and deemed her actions above the law. She made a farce of our Constitution, and is continuing to do so.

The dog was 19 years old. Do you know how old that is for a dog. That dog was being cared for or it could not have lived to be 19. Come on people grow up and get some common sense or just go join PETA. By no way should that lady get any donations for being a thief. It probably hurt the dog more by taking it than just letting the owners keep their pet. Dogs are not humans folks and should not be treated as such. As for the neighbor being worried about the dog. What does that prove. My friends neighbor is worried for her kids lives because he has pitbulls chained in the yard. Yes that is what his neighbor told him. It means nothing what a neighbor thinks. The neighbor is probably just a ignorant as the lady whole stole the dog. Because we all know that chaining a dog is so cruel. Whatever. People who think that should compare the living conditions to a chained dog and a dog at their local shelter. I would much rather be on a chain.

Well put... I dont know the intricate details of the story like you do, but that makes since. I cant believe they are trying to make legislature that makes it legal to citizens to make their own judgement on if a dog is mistreated. I heard that this lady tried to get someone out there to see the dog and could not get help. I want to believe she was acting out of the goodness in her heart, but you never know with people these days. I hope they investigate this story completely. I only feel sorry for the dog. I know that I dont want someone to take my dog so I can understand how this lady was wrong. I just want to believe she was helping the old dog. I dont think its cruel to chain up a dog, but I do think its cruel for the dog to be left alone for days not moving and no one to love on him. Poor Poor Puppy!
