Anyone who owns a breakstick, a breeding stand a treadmill or a spring pole should make an educational video of how it excercises the dog and why we want them in top condition like for ADBA shows(and others) and for competitions like weightpull. It would only help to have those who know what they are talking about step up and do so because the media and the AC keeps using that against everyone. I for one will make an instructional video about the springpole once the groud dries up around here. I'm asking please do this for our breed people.

**EDIT** oh and name the video something that will obviously pop up quickly when people type "pitbull" in the search engine. If you need any ideas for video titles then just ask me.

54 reviews and no ideas or input? No wonder this breed is suffering. Well I now see people think it's much easier to sign their name to a petition and feel like they've done something for the breed.

  3. First of all...there are plenty of them on my space and you tube as well, there have been numerous ones posted here.

It is very nieve and rude of you to say what you did about these people here.
Most people are interested in another thread right now, that I am sure is taking away from other threads posted.

Not only that, right now with everything going on, some people might not want to post that stuff....have you been reading articles?

That and who wants to take their time to set up their digital video recorder, record the dog, then transfer it their computer, and then upload it simply for people that don't and won't understand the breed?

  6. Exactly.....some folks just dont understand! Then think everyone else is to blame....

Excuse the late response but creating videos that downplay what the media says about the equipment we use can only be educational if done right. I haven't found any videos online that go into details about what parts of the body the equipment works and why those areas are worked on (e.g. shows, weight pulls, agility, etc.)and how the equipment can be used for any breed.

Even if you know where some videos exist pertaining to what I'm referring to then they are not advertised properly. Meaning the title, the description and the websites are not catchy.

It's not what you read, it's how you interpret it. Don't hide nothing unless you got something to hide.

I feel it might work but it also might work better if these video's were made featuring breeds other than the APBT. You know, show that the tools are not breed specific and are used for training other breeds for shows/work as well. It may highlight the fact that they are not just used by people who the public feels are 'fighting' their dogs. It would definitely have an impact if there were video's produced and distributed by kennel clubs for different breeds. JMO
