Grown dog....different situation, 2-3 yrs of feeding makes a difference for sure!
I'm sure that handling played the difference in the fate of that dog.....Although it is one of my favorite storys :)

why was this male in your yard? Being that he doesn't suit your taste and you wouldn't own a dog like him. Who's dog is he and why if you care so little about him was he able to breed your bitch? What is it I am not seeing here? How did this dog get the opprotunity to stick. It is too late to fix it now. Raise them up and go throught the normal culling process as normal and next time breed her to your idea of a prime stud. Problem solved. Hell every now and then you need some variation in the pool can't swim with the kin folk all the time start getting retarded. lol

Are you lookin for takers or are you realy trying to debate this in your mind .....you already have the answers.

    I single register.

  4. Yes, that is what I was wondering as well....you say you don't sell them, but you don't to keep them, so....if they are a problem then we would be more than happy to take them off of your hands...w/papers!

Sy82nj- let me see here, you had an accidental breeding, you dont like the male for whatever reason, but wont give a reason good enough except he is scatter bred, and are willing to dump the pups on the JQ public?? hellooooo... lets rethink this here, you are now responsible for this litter, and to just dump the pups on the JQ public without knowing the temperment is irresponsible.. if you cant keep the entire litter until they are mature so that you know their temperment then cull them all. period. dont put them out in the JQ public for the public to deal with a potentially super hot dog or a potentially HA dog.. keep them all until they mature, and then do what you have to , either cull or find proper homes and spay/neuter them that make the grade for pet homes.

if you read the post well you would understand that i don't believe in changing my style so early in the game. this is how i think and is good enuff reason to me. temperment is just a word to me. manbiter's are not good dogs in this breed. this litter is one that can be a good or bad but it will all come back on me

Well, huff!, Accidents happen and due to this accident I hope you will now inspect your dog equipment daily. Dogs are gonna do what they are gonna do. It's up to you as a breeder to see that your females are bred appropriately. You are responsible for this litter as others have so kindly pointed out because you did not check your equipment for flaws. Good thing the male didn't attack one of your other dogs. How would you feel then?
So enough lecturing JQ Public is just a term for John Q. Public. The Q means nothing. It's just a term like "John Doe" for an unknown person. Or "Jane Doe."
I fail to see how the puppies are at fault for your mistake. Dogs don't care about papers...and you are silly to think that you might not have a wonderful dog in that litter. Too bad you are thinking of making the "pups" pay for your own mistake.
You have been offered many solutions besides "culling" the pups. Be a man and admit you made a mistake and try to do something positive for the pups who didn't ask to be born with the "wrong" pedigree. Obviously you don't feel comfortable with "culling" them or you wouldn't have posted. You made a commitment to your dogs born and unborn when you decided to start breeding. Follow through.

ok, i dont follow you.. you dont believe in changing your style so early in the game, - what does that mean?>

ok, so you feel the dog is scatterbred for your own reasons, but dont want to state them. ok..
