Please dont hate me but I saw no oversized dogs.....some of them were small.And to the chains,well from my point of view a little to masive, but I saw chains like this on this board gallerie....and not one bad reply about them.

the bad publicity is that which revolves around owners of bulldogs being street thugs (shooting glocks, getting paid, etc. etc.) My dogs lock is like popping of glocks. WHAT do they need glocks for if there is nothing illegal going on...I HAVE A GUN quite a few actually you know why? in case someone like that come to take my shit! Do i talk and promote it NOPE!

The music is not the point it's the image and the lyrics that are ignorant and uneducated. As far as a musical standpoint who cares!

You say not a bad image for kids doing it themselves...DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT'S WHAT THESE DOGS NEED? if they are learning about bulldogs through this video what are they learning about guns and violence?

i dont think that john q. public needs to see the apbt in any type of aggressive (human or dog) light, whether or not that is aprt of the breed...many people do not understand this aspect of the dogs and equate their dog aggression with human agression...this video does nothing to help the average person understand our breed...any mention of dog aggression or fighting should be kept from those who dont and cannot understand

Somebody mentioned not wanting to live in the ghetto with murderers, rapists, etc. I don't exactly think Scott Peterson, who murdered his pregnant wife lived in the ghetto...These people are everywhere. Mary Kaye Letourneau, the school teacher that was sleeping and impregnated by a 6th grade student lived in a very nice neighborhood and had quite a religious background. Andrea Yates who drowned her 5 children...These are people living in the "safe" suburbs. Even if you live in a safe neighborhood...check your sex offender registry and public records!

In my opinion people should take a look around any ghetto neighborhood. Images like these are everywhere even if it isnt pitbulls. I'm from El Salvador, before it was pitbulls, we used to walk our rottweilers and mastiffs around in chains and look tough with them. Bring another tough dog in the picture its the same thing. Guns and stuff. This shouldn't be a race issue, when there are alot of other races who act just the same. This is why I dont believe in someone acting black. Baggy pants, nike sneakers, fitted hats? Thats acting black? I thought it just was a style, doing whats in right now. Yeah the video sucks and does nothing for the breed but these people dont know no better. Flaming them aint going to help none....

I have been to your country several times. Never for fun though. We didn't enter the cities much. Food as always was good. If it wasn't for my job I think under a different light I would have enjoyed the place. Not the cities though. The country side was nice and the folks out there were nice. As were most of the countries down there. Not Nicaragua I didn't like that place at all. I didn't have much civilian contact there. Mostly gorrila soldiers. Sucked big time. Hunduras had some really nice folks. Panama. I am mixed on that place. A different time. Sure did see allot of poverty that is for sure. Sad it broke my heart to see kids going hungry.

I had to look again to see if I saw them "parading" well fed dogs in heavy chains but the only times I saw chains a bit to big was when they were in the yard NOT when outside (:35 sec). "Acting a fool"? Which part was foolish? The part where the white bitch smelled the cone(1:10)? Or when the two dogs were playing TOGETHER with the rag(1:14)? or maybe when the buckskin/white dog jumped to get the punching bag (2:21) <NOTICE chain decent the>? or how about when the human was playing with the white bitch by lifting her by the Kong toy (2:28)?

Like previously stated, I do not see any intent on their part to portray these dogs as anything brutal or demonic. They are simply using these dogs (or dogs resembling them) to send the message of "don't play around" "ready for whatever", etc. In essence, they used things that have been known to work in a video, sex (girl shaking) and "bully" type dogs (to show toughness and bravery).

Personally, this type of music is NOT my cup of tea. Yet, I am mindful to the fact that there are many, many decent people that do enjoy these types of lyrics and sounds. I am not going to get on any wagon that will automatically label the marriage of rap and APBT as a demonic combination. I certainly would have agreed with you if there were images of attacks on people.

One clarification I will make about my previous post is that it has NOTHING to do with race, it has to do with local culture. I am sure blacks in the south do not act exactly like Urban New Yorkeans.

Come on Wilson! Are you telling me that our dogs should be thought of as cuddle bears that would never hurt a fly? Certainly not the right image to portray. We must be clear and honest to what a true to form APBT is meant to be (with a disclaimer that this breed is not for everyone). We seek to educate the public not blind-fold them into thinking these dogs are like every other breed and can be trained to be "just dandy" around any other dog just by watching :30 minutes of the Dog Whisperer (Cesar Millan).

This video was not intended to educate anyone. This is a RAP video intended to entertain the listeners via their lyrics and sounds. The shaking of posterior and dogs were just subliminal messages.

Would I have made this video? Hell no but respect their right to do so.

I think everyone is over-analysing this video, maybe u should drive through the ruff hood in your local big city, u will see plenty of guys standing on corners trying to make a living, hell we all know its not right what they are doing but its just the way it is. I grew up in some of the roughest areas in philly and i saw some of the craziest sh*t go down, an i've seen plenty of guys walking big dogs on huge chains around to intimidate people, its just the way it is, there aint anything we can do to change it, its a lifestyle they were born in and thats all they know. I think the dogs in the video have the least impact overall to the whole feel of the video, its just a part of their lives and sh*t all those dogs looked in good shape so i see nothin wrong with this video at all, plus that girls @$$ is on FIRE lol

 

This is my last reply on this topic. Personally, these people are immature talentless. We had a former member on here who also wrote hip hop music & there is such a difference in what he did & what these guys are doing. They lack originality, they lack the smarts to actually come up with a good rap, & they lack the talent to put together a decent video or not. Even for amateurs they suck ***k.
