Why did you name your dog what you did?

I had a pup once that used to eat his own feces. The neighbors used think I was crazy when I was calling my dog to eat dinner. I say you hungry boy you wanna eat Shit lol lol hahahahahahahaha

 

My female's name is Dena, because she was found abandoned after just having pups at a truck stop in Pasadena, Texas. After talking to a few truckers we found out that the pups were put in a sack and tossed into a canal that runs behind the truck stop.


I named my male Samson because i like that movie "half baked" with dave chappelle. One of the characters in the movie is named samson.

Back in the day i use to rap an my stage name was Black Caesar. Black Caesar was jus a cool MF that didn't botha anybody but did take any sh*t either. So I decided to name my dog Black Caesar Smokey. Black Caesar was also a movie that came out in 73 about a bad black mf that did not take no Sugar Honey Ice Tea...

 

Munkee got his name because when he was a baby he looked like a monkey. Round head, round ears, round belly.............and he still acts like one. The spelling is my daughter's idea.


Justice's registered name is 7 New Stars Over Texas. She was born the day the Columbia went down. She was also born in the area that many pieces of it were found. I don't remember why she is called Justice, my daughter named her that.

 

I named her that because people were Envious when they saw how pretty my puppy was... Just kidding. I like the names to mean something and I descided I wanted all the names to coordinate. I like the names to be an emotion. Envy, jealousy, greed, lust, etc...

 

I named my boy 'Rex' after the T-Rex because when we first got him, he would do this kinda growl-pant thingy, and he was very destructive....

 

I named my pup curea for finding a "cure" for cancer and the "a" at the end to sound more girly. My girlfriend had cancer when she was 19. Now she is 20 years old and 6 months cancer free also our aferican grey name is hope "you need to have hope when you have cancer" and our green cheek conure is named shade "Since she had melanoma stage 3a, shade is the best place to be in . Stay out of the sun and use sunscreen" And our JRT is named comet " she is all white and she is one fast crack head lol. we also got her 1 years before my girlfriend had caner."

I used to LOVE that song too! Only I was born and raised in Washington state. Go figure.

Bosco was named after my favorite character on a TV show no longer running called Third Watch. He was a cop who had a short fuse but when push came to shove he was a good boy...much like Mister Bosco. For example, when playing, sometimes he gets TOO stimulated and you have to stop...but he's NOT an aggressive dog at all...he's a good boy.

Molly was named Molly because one night during an "ambien moment" (My mom has worked nights for over a decade, takes ambien to sleep) my mom woke me up all excited, saying we should get TWO puppies, and name the girl Molly. I said cool mom I'm sleeping. So Molly it was. lol...oddly enough, Molly is the REAL name of the actor who played Bosco's partner on Third Watch.

Well I named my 3 .. Boomer, Cheyenne, and Folsom

Boomer, because when we went to get him he was about 9 weeks old and he came running up to the dog of the pen barking.. his bark was really loud like a Boom for a little pup.

Cheyenne, I was watching some show about Native Americans on the history channel and they were talking about the Cheyenne Indians and she started barking at the screen at some horse.

Folsom, Well I am a big Johnny Cash fan.. so I named him after the song Folsom Prison Blues.. And he's bluish color.. someone the other day called him Champagne colored.

 

Well we named Rage becuase ever since she was 3 months old every time she would see another dog she would go into the rage lmfao.Max i have no clue why we named him that lol Deacon was named Deacon cuz he has alot of Deacon in his ped. and for the other yard dogs there just named lmfao

 

I named my dog BIG DADDY KANE after the grate pimp and my other dogs name is king titan but we call him panda bear cause he looks like one. i also have a friend that named one of his dogs big head white head kong i dont know why but i think its funny.

 

I named my boy Achilles, because he is small, but mighty and powerfull like Achilles lol..

 

We didn't plan on keeping Big Girl at first so we didn't name her...She was Big...She is a girl..we just started calling her Big Girl until we found her a home...and then we found her a home (OURS) and the nickname just stuck.
