ADBA now registering other breeds!!!

So $$$$$$ speaks again. & to boot, they don't even picture an APBT anywhere on the website anymore. I wish everyone registered with them without pull their registrations.

 

I have a feeling this may be quite the distraction at this weekend's show. I'm still going, especially since my daughter has her heart set on it and has been practicing with the dogs.

 

If you go to ADBA.cc there is a link for APBT's, and a link for "Other Breeds". I just gave the link to the other breeds (sorry i mixed you up).

I will no longer register with them.

I will never register with them again. What about SDR or BFKR. Are they still legit.

 

Now that they have chosen to go all breed, do you think the show venues will slowly turn to that of the UKC, or do you think the standard and judging will remain the same? I am undecided at this point but slowly drifting towards the opposition. Its good to have something that we can call ours. HELLO AADR!!!!

well i cant picture all these 'purdy' fat dogs and then our gamedogs ....nope...

 

I contacted them to see if i can get my boney back because i just it in a couple days ago, and they said that at this time they only deal with apbt. I asked her if they planed on expanding to other breeds, and she sounded a little iffy but she said just apbt. So she said to send an email to adba@adba.cc. So i did just that too tell them how dumb/ inconsiderate the idea is if they are planning on it. So it you all like this registry you may want to do the same befor the actually do start.

 

I wipe my a$$ with the ADBA. :mad:

 

I guess I won't be registering any of my APBT's there!

 

I just wonder how the shows would be held? Will we have to watch ugly little Chihuahuas & Shih-Tzus parade around a ring with their prissy little "my shit don't stink" owners, or will there just be shows limited ONLY to the APBT?

 

i dont know how it is going to work from now on,but i am pulling all my papers not only from my kennel of dogs but all my dogs that i have placed with close friends and other dogmen.and i am demanding a refund in full for all living dogs and if they wont do that they will be hearing from my attorney to see if we can get anything done.because i will never ever be assicoated with that ''regeristery'' again.i have known the folks who have ran that club back to before the greenwoods took it over,we used to have a good realasonship with each other like they would send me christmas gifts and such and vice versa but i think thats pretty much done with now from this point on,i can't stand people who sell out for money.

 

Listen to all of you. Crying just b/c they decide to register other dogs an not just the APBT. WOW talk about discrimination. I hope all of you do pull your dogs peds out. Maybe that's what they need. A few less egotistical and eccentric people is just what the doctor ordered. When will it stop. Maybe hospitals should stop treating all the black or hispanic people just b/c all the white people want something to call their own. This board is just becomming more and more Hitler'ish. My dogs aren't even registered with the ADBA but some of you jsut need to relax and stop thinking into things so much. You complain about people not respecting our dogs and giving them a fair shot but all you seem to want to do is segregate our dogs from everything else then ask why aren't we being treated fairly. UNBELIEVABLE how some peoples minds work. This complaint and some of you are humorous to me. Hope you all have a blessed day!!

 

Another thing I was thinking is that once other breed owners start registering their dogs, they will want some type of event to participate in. So that will mean judges for specific breeds other than APBT, will have to be trained and/or appointed. One of the judges could possibly be an AKC or UKC judge and probably will try and judge in the APBT ring. I know I am probably reading into it but is it possible? Yes. I was at a UKC show last summer watching the APBT ring when a friend of mine said, "Thats the judge that was judging the AKC show last weekend." Needless to say that the dog that placed was...... Well you know........

 

Yes that could be a posibility but it isn't that way yet. Maybe they will have breed specific shows where we will never see another dog except a APBT. Maybe these people will try and keep to the breed standard in their shows and only hire judges that have worked with them prior. I think some of you are jumping to conclusions without knowing the outcome just yet. Besides the AKC and UKC are top of the line for other dogs right not. Why don't you just wait and see what happens before you decide to jump the gun.
