is it TRUE or NOT (ELI)

i just wanted to see what people thought about the TRUE breeding of ELI....this isnt to get a fight started but to get people's input....simple question....is ELI's Pedigree TRUE or NOT...and reasons why you think that

 

I believe that Eli is bred as paperwork claims. I also believe that it doesn't much matter anymore either way, as none of us have Eli in the first couple generations so his influence isnt strong enough to where it would truly matter. Lots of dogs aren't bred the way they are claimed to be bred. What matters is he was a good dog, that produced well enough to still have Eli dogs today.

Being from Louisiana, where there is an ass load of Eli blood, I would have to go with the paperwork as well. But we all know that the Oldtimers Hung paperwork with the best of 'em. On a serious note though I tend to believe Mr. Boudreaux as I have talked to him several times.

 

So yall dont care how a dog is bred as long as he or she is "GOOD"?

 

Its nice to have a good bred dog, but I'd rather have a GOOD dog than just pretty paperwork to show off. The reason we say we don't much care how the dog is bred, because his particular influence in the current dogs is not much, genetic wise.

so whe you breed a dog that ISNT genestically the same as the offsprinf (as on paper) it doesnt matter?...i would rather have both......paper slingers are just wanting what they cant get on PAPER....

 

I agree, I'd like my dog to be bred correctly, but as long as its a damn good dog, I truly don't really care, as long as there is no Kershner blood in it of course LOL

i wanna ask one more thing before the POST draws to a close.....WOULD yall (the people with ELI blood) still have these dogs if they weren't (on paper) PURE BOUDBREAUX breeding?......still ELI would produce the dogs he has but they would just be different on paper......WOULD YALL STILL HAVE THEM?.....cause you have to admit that thats why ALOT of people have these dog's (paper)

If you (WHO) believe the papers aren't right then how do you believe Eli was bred??? Even If he wasn't bred as it was stated he still produced the same dogs and they inturn produced the same dogs so this discussion is about what exactly?????

 

the discussion hasnt changed...ELI are the papers true or not....i just wanted input to see what other people thought.....I BELEIVE that the papers are wrong....the story is long so im not gonna write it unless people really want to hear it....

I agree .I'd like to have a dog bred how it is supposed to be ,BUT the dog makes the dog.Not the papers!!!

 

The Ped's show that ELI was of Scrub and CANDY...but what i beleave and WHAT I WAS TOLD BY D.MAYFIELD and another guy....was that ELI was a dog of Lingham's Little Cotton and this bitch from Don's yard ....not sure on the name yet....but ill post the Dam of ELI up soon,.........the deal was DON gave FLoyd this bitch when she had a belly full up pups...FLoyd was to watch this dog AND THE PUPS....well when it came time for the pups to be born FLOYD told DON that all the pups had died...so don went on (thinking the pups died) with his way and soon found out about this little dog FLoyd had named ELI well don question the fact but didnt worry about it cause he had "better" dogs to worry about...ELI was breed into Floyds other stock....which was "supposedly CURS" thats how Bullyson and ELI Jr. came about...as history tells us Bullyson son lost to a mayfield trained dog and the rest was history.......

this isnt to get a fight started it is just stateing what the rumor is about and has been about since the beginning...im not bashing ELI im just saying what i think about the PED...NOT TO TAKE AWAY FROM HIM...BUT if ELI wasn't hidden by Floyd and was bred into DON's family (ELI's family) the dogs would be outstanding....the other guy that told me of this...had seen Floyd's stock before ELI adn he had seen the dog's ELI "REALLY" came from and he said RAY CHARLES COULD SEE IT....This ALSO is how the RUMOR of DON trying to take credit for others dogs came about....
