  3. As far as I am concerned.............
apology not accepted here..not in my book...

He has made every situation for any APBT owner worse than it was before, and it will not retract....

  4. ditto! however much time he gets isn't enough for the damage he's done to our breed.

I think they should soack him in water and electricute him just like he did those dogs that didnt want to fight. Like many people have already stated he has made it that much harder to own a pit bull. Last week my dog ran full speed and slipped hitting her head on the steps of the deck, it put a nice gash on her head and you should have seen the way the vet looked at me when i brought her in. I knew exactly what was going through her mind. Its really sad that things like this need to happen, i hope hes locked up for a long time.

  6. Well you should hope a lot harder...right now they say its only 5 yrs or less!

He could still be innocent......da feds don't have a 98% conviction rate for nothin.....they probably just made it real simple.....they told him he had a choice you can cop a plea and do 1 yr or go to trial and do 5......it didn't help that his boiz turned state to try and save their own ass When they are the reason this whole dog fighting thing came about....its unfortunate this had to happen....my lil brother was almost in tears when he saw it on tv......guilty or not he was a great player and we (go falcons) will miss him every sunday this year and years to come......other players and other athletes and our president (ENRON) has done worst shit than this....i guess it was the braids and the $100 million they didn't like..i guess image is everything...JMO

Ray Lewis - He Came to Buckhead and killed somebody and played in the super bowl and never did a day

Jamaal Lewis - Selling keys of cocaine only did 6 months in like a boot camp

Roy Jones Jr. - fights chickens

Kobe Bryant - Raped a gurl (what an idiot) neva did a day

If Vick gets a stiff sentence, I feel that it would raise the persecution up a degree on apbt owners. This sentencing could become a basis for the government to start upping their intensity on bans and restrictions on this breed.

On the game last night Tiki Barber and the rest of the crew were saying that he may end up with only a year and his NFL suspension will start when he is released from prison. This will have him back on the field by 2010. As long as he doesnt snitch on any of the other "Dogmen" in the NFL, he will be fine. Like it or not. He brought heat because he got caught. Thats that.

A great player? I would not classify him as great. I would say exciting and fast. But not great. A great runner, but well below average passer. I know, he sells a lot of jerseys, but not a great player. Definitely not a great person.

That is not the point though. Great player or crappy player, he did something that is terrible and wrong on many different levels. He is and always will be a killer, no matter how much time he spends in prison/jail/whatever.

He deserves what he gets and I think he deserves more than this 1 year crap I have heard. If he is in the league in 2010 like that article suggests, i'll puke. He needs to be made an example that this crap is not going to be stood for!

QUESTION: Now that he is pleading guilty, nex Monday that is, what happens to the state's case against him? I, once again, know nothing about law or anything like that. Once he's plea bargained in Federal court, what does that do for the state? May be a stupid question, but can some enlighten me?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

EDIT: Kobe did not rape anyone. I don't even want to get started on that whole fiasco.

I believe state can bring up charges after the feds.....

The mimimum he can get is a year and the sentence is up to the judge and has nothing to do with the plea. And the judge he is facing is notorious for giving the maximum sentence. But what ever he gets is deserved. And also like stated before he was not a great quaterback, BUT he was an awesome athlete and could have been utilized at a different possition.IMO

Unless the state prosecutors are parties to the plea agreement, any state where a criminal act is alleged can bring charges.

From here, it seems Vick's lawyers did him good, in that Vick only has to cop to a conspiracy rap and not to the dogfighting itself. That means his sentence will be lighter, assuming that the feds would have gotten their conviction (and they almost always do). For that matter, a conspiracy conviction is a near automatic thing in Federal court. So Vick only pleads to something he almost certainly would have gone down for anyway.

ditto....IMO, he took the plea because if he didnt, he would of gotten a much worse deal. Coward, spineless, hood. Sorry, but i call it like i see it.
