Gr. CH. Or Ch. Bitch?

Were there any Ch. or Gr. Ch. Bitches that fought in the pit? I was recently noticing that all the legendary APBT I've learned about here have been Males. I was wondering if they fought bitches. And if so, Were there any famous ones? If not, how did they determine that the bitch was worthy of being bred?

Ch. Honeybunch was probably the most famous one. I believe she produced 7 female Ch.'s as well.

 

Dbl GR CH K. Allen's Tornado, Wade's CH Sadie, I know of some others but they don't come to my mind yet.

Brewer's Rosie (Zebo and Vindicators sister) is very famous, but although she was game tested she was never formally matched. Because of her traits...the record of her litter mates, etc. she was too valuable as a brood bitch. She wasn't a ch or gr ch, but I thought I'd mention her.

Ch. Dragon Lady. A littermate to GR. CH. Mayday from Southern Kennels. PitBull Dynasty has one too, but I forget her name. Her first win was over a super game Solo Kennels New York (S.K.N.Y.) Poison Ivy who was bred by Wildside Kennels.

Is it true that gr. ch. BB Red won a match in 4 mins and 11 mins?

 

I heard the same thing. She's GR CH Banjo's littermate sister. His total time in the box was under 3 hours. That whole litter was bought for 150 bux. LOL

story was she was bought with 2 littermates a few months after banjo was purchased. Thats gotta be a crazy hard mouth to win that quickly

There were only two good dogs from that litter Banjo and BB the rest weren't so hot.
Coy actually tracked all the littermates down and bought them all, but the rest never worked out.
Banjo was bred to his aunt, Gr Ch Tina.

 

I think Banjo is probably one of my favorite lines. The ol' gyp we had was a BULLDOG. 26 1/2 pounds. That dog was the truth.
