For those of you who have overhead cable runs, what kind of pulleys do you guys use?

They would have to be extremely heavy duty with safety advises attached just in case ;)

I always used a bearing race.If you know someone who is a shade tree mechanic or go to a junk yard and ask for some old wheel bearings.I put the whole bearing on the cable. The race is the inside and its harder than a hookers heart!Hook a new large quick link to the bearing and your chain and your all set. Also you might want to think about putting your cable on the ground.Use old car axles{not the whole thing just the inside}to steke them into the ground.Hope this helps...Bill

What do you guys think of these pulleys or trolleys? pulleys I was thinking of using the microtrolley because I can add a carabiner or quick link to the hole in the back. this way even if the trolley fails somehow the dog will still be attatched to the cable. Or maybe run two of these pulleys pulleys to the chain in case of anything.

if theyre good with not a lot of slop they can work good as long as they ride the cable good. i still like bearing style better though.
