I think the second list is one of those where......anything that remotely ressembles a APBT... is documented as a pitbull. I have walked through some of these facilities, and its mind blowing to see what dogs they are labeling as APBT's. And this mis labeling crap, is a ploy by the individuals that wanna see these dogs disappear.

Not only skewed by mislabeling but also who reports being bit by the ankle biters! Probably embarassing and too much family pressure to call AC to tell them you were bit by Grandma's yorkie!!! Data for such lists is always bent towards the means they are trying to reach.

really what does it matter what kind of breed did the biting, they are singling out certain breeds to stir up conflict. i mean they got bit, how is putting it out by top biting breeds helping?

So can we assume APBTs can fall under either Terrier or just the generic name Pitbull which is not even the name of a breed by itself... or both or what ???because now this just confuses me.

dade county bans pitbulls it's one out of two county that does in fl , then fl made a law banning any bsl . so how does dade have 32 bits from pits. looks like someone not doing there job to keep them out of the county. lol

it is all b.s. because more than half of dogs bites never get reported since it's usually the family dog that bites or a work related injury such as a groomer

And what do they constitute as a "dog bite"? Does the dog have to actually draw blood?
