Uno/Ishida is good too. UFC doesn't have a lightweight class so all the best 155 pounders 9except BJ...who would rule at his natural weight) are in Dream.

Kenny is an awesome fighter and continues to improve but his only legit shot at beating BJ, would be if BJ sat at home and ate Spam sandwiches and didnt train and even then I think BJ would still beat him

I am a Kenflo fan also

BJ has the perfect style to school the Roid Shark, Sherks best take downs are shooting from China and thats it, BJ is to fast will be one step ahead of Sherk the entire fight. BJ will also put Sherk on his back throughout the fight

Like eveyone mentioned already, if Bj comes in super conditioned he should have no problem retaining that belt, there is a lot of talk out there , that say without Sherks steroids, he will be less effective and loose power.

Kenny was competing in Naga back when I was doing their tourney's. Everyone knew he had grappling potential. What he was able to do that not many can accomplish is to make the transition from grappling to striking.

A lot of great grapplers can't become proficient at striking and vice versa. When you are really accomplished in one discipline and have to start out as a newbie in a new style it is very humbling and that is why MMA champions deserve so much respect, IMO.

Bingo. I know it would be tough...but the guy brings a lot of smarts/passion/conditioning to the ring. A guy this passionate & determined can def. pose a threat to BJ. This coming from a big time BJ Penn fan.:)

I hope they aren't in trouble as i really enjoy MMA and UFC is easy to find and watch. I had read on Sherdog and some other MMA boards that Zuffa was losing money right now on UFC for the past 6-8 months. According to the article i read the $85 million they spent on Pride, coupled with money losing PPV's in each of the overseas PPV's as well as the last one in Canada had them in a financial bind. Also that with the friday night fight and ultimate fighter ratings down they were starting to lose some TV advertising sponsors which was a big loss in profits also. They had stated that the next couple of PPV would be about $10 higher cost to help make up for the ones they lost money on. All this along with Dana just being a DICK in general when trying to negotiate with other fighters and organizations put UFC & Zuffa near bankruptcy.............then again maybe its all internet B.S.

How about Faber vs Penn. I'd pay top dollar to see that fight. I think there is a 10lb weight difference but if they could meet in the middle, that would be a war. IMO

Poor Sherk, he didnt have a chance in hell lol, he was getting punished all day long , man, Huerta vs Florian is going to be war, Im going for Huerta, I think he gots what it takes to be a title holder, if he beats Florian he will deffinatly be in the big leagues, I dont see Forrest beating Rampage, Rampage is too much of a beast in power for Forrest.

I dont know??? That would be one hell of a fight. Bj ain't gonna gonna last on his feat with Fabor. Fabor wouldent last long on the ground. That would be a toss up. I would go with Faber.

Off topic, but MMA related, does anyone know where Matt Hughes is from? I work at a resort and we had a family check in with the last name Hughes. Normally, I wouldn't really see anything in this, but their credit card said Team Hughes and they looked kind of like him, so I was thinking it might be his family.

I think Penn can hold his own on his feet.Besides his conditioning problems here and there,he is an all around fighter.Imo.Besides Faber hasn't fought any fighters even close to the caliber Penn has.

I totally agree with you BJ is a better stand up fighter then faber in fact he is the better all around fighter the only thing BJ lack is some solid hard conditioning which faber has the advantage in that catagory plus faber is young.

Plus Rampage should beat forrest ass lol

I agree he can handle himself on his feet but Faber is a complete Buzzsaw. I think with Faber's Power, speed ,energy and athletisism. It would not serve Bj well to stand and swing with faber. Now if Bj smothers Faber the fight could easly go Penns way. Youre right Fabor hasent fought the same quality fighters as penn. (Lets see what happens with Faber Vs. Pullver) Faber is a freak and has absoulutly no conditioning problems at all.
