redboy/turtle buster

what do u guys think about the redboy turtle buster cross.My bro breeds from this bloodline,and im supposed to get a pup off of him.

 

if your brother is breeding them, he should be able to tell you what that cross might bring to the table in a breeding.

always best to ask a person who has experience with them.

I don't think we are allowed to post Iron Mikes web site but it is easy to find. Hint Hint, the Norrod line implemented Turtlebuster about 3-4 gens back in the peds of his current dogs.

I imagine the the logic is to get the Turtlebuster mouth and the Red boy gameness.

 

Good point, but I'd imagine Gaines has it tighter. I was really focused on the TurtleBuster. I'd like to cross it w/my own line of Redboy.

 

I would try K Gaines before IM on the Turtlebuster stuff. IM only has a tiny bit through CH Red dog ..

Not sure but a few years back K Gaines had a dog name Astro , might still be on peds online, worth the look up

yes, the story is REd Dog is out of a different bitch. I'm pretty sure too that R.D was the breeder of REd Dog, not K.G....

 

Best way to get the story straight right there. But that Redboy to TB should be a nice cross. Does anyone know if there is more of the TB blood throwing good ones still or does IM have the market cornered with CH Red? PM me.

I kno sum folks @ empire pits but havent spoke with them in while ..dont really kno if they still feed them TB dogs

 

quite a few really serious dogmen still use and cross into the TB line.. the crosses are really where it's at..as you can see by the extensive use of "willy" and old george's offspring

I had a few Dixion dogs that were hard T.B I crossed Ironhead and boyles in and got some fine ones. The gaines and dixion dogs were very rough. J

 

Is that Dixion stuff still available to the public?

 

You know how that is MONEY talks I aint had one in 10 plus years and they say the ones I got were the best of the lot. Just luckey, but Im sure you can still find them if you look under the right rock. J

 

Fair enough, and despite the depression, money is good. Especially for the dogs!!!

 

In my opinion, the Willy dogs are where it is at as far as this cross goes. Just check the offspring.
