There have been alot of good dogman throughout the years and to just narrow it down to just one, well thats difficult but I guess I'm gonna go with STP. They were running it back in the day, many greats from just one yard, and also agree with dogman82 (on the myself part:p)

With what little I know I would have to go with My SC boy's Garner for present, and Tant for past. Both have had a major impact in taking the game to the next level as well as preservation.

I will have to say my favorites are Floyd Boudreaux,Tom Garner,Pat Patrick and Fat Bill. I love the Frisco/Lee Ling stuff and The Bolero/Frisco/Chinaman stuff is the truth in VA and hell the Eli/Boze stuff plays a major part behind many bloodlines today.

    lol

Vince Romero is mine, still a dogman today and never known to burn anyone or roll on anyone. Friendly, helpful and still in the lane

Ronald Boyles is another, created a family of dogs that are foundation of many, all while only having a small yard

Tom Garner, a highly educated individual that understands genetics and his dogs speak for themeselves, #1 ROM list. Never rolled on anyone and never will

Tom Garner...a dogman......guess we all have different opinions on what a dogman is, lol. Not saying he ain't had some fine dogs through out his time...hell I ain't saying he doesn't have some fine dogs now, but dogman? Not that I have the right to call anyone a dogman or not because I believe only a dogman has the right to call another a dogman. I think Tom Garner is more of a business man than anything else.

Do little more digging and I think you will find out the cat has done more than peddle pups. He may not be the ideal dogman, but a dogman he is. I love when my generation talks down on the older guys and don't have a clue. What were you doing in the eighties while this business man was putting out dogs that are still making an impact today.

My favorite Dogman isn’t a man, it’s actually a woman and is someone who has made in my honest opinion a larger, more enduring impact on the bred than some of the dogmen previously mentioned in this thread. Although due to the like’s of male chauvinist such as Jack Kelly who novices’ and sheep assume wrote the Bible on the Sport of the Game and consider every word ever printed in the SDJ as “fact”, as if God himself had written it, contrary to that belief and misguided delusions of grandeur many, many woman have contributed to the history of our bred and a few have even made hugh if not greater impacts than men on the game and purposely, solely based upon them being a woman were never credited for it. My vote for favorite dogman/woman proudly goes to my mentor Ms. Patsy Loposay. Without her knowledge and breeding skills 50% or more of you today on this board probably wouldn’t have the dog’s you have. Entire bloodline’s have been established off of her yard. No further explanation should be needed in the fraternity. Another woman who also stands out above the rest and has never received the honor or respect she so graciously has earned throughout the years is Katie Marlow also known as Carolina Kitten, the owner of Triangle Acres Kennels. I mean no disrespect to ANY of the dogmen previous mentioned as I know several of them personally but, it’s time that we start acknowledging the contributions that the dogwomen of the past have made just as much as the dogmen of the past have as well. Our history is what shapes and guides us. Without our history we are left without a guide for the future.

    Patsy Loposay & Katie Marlow
Two of the breed's best dogwoman!

he doesnt advertise besides his own web site, hasnt ran an ad in over a decade anywhere, only ran in the Journal, doesnt push his dogs or bloodline on anyone. People seek him, he doesnt spend his time advertising on the internet, magazine ads or anywhere besides listing litters on his own web site.

lol he's not a dogman, how many ROM dogs and Champions do you have on your yard or have you bred?

you said you dont consider a dogman, then you say youre not worthy of putting anyone in a category because its takes a dogman and you're not.

you conradict yourself and your posts shows how cluelss you really are

you can call just about anyone and they'll let a puppy go to you, its always been like that. Pick up an old Journal and see who had litters, I'll let you in, everyone did at all times. People with good dogs want their dogs out there, thats how is works

You sure are a testy bitch... Gotta come to the rescue of your "big daddy" I didn't say nothing bad about him, just that I think he is more of a business man than anything else. Never said he doesn't have good dogs because I know for a fact some good animals have come off that yard. You are correct I am no dogman
Now you are contradicting yourself...first you say he doesn't advertise anywhere, but his website. Then you say he did run in the journal. So which is it? Both at one point or the other. Why do you think the man advertises on his site? Let me hold your hand little one, and show you; He does it because the majority of the civilized world has the internet or has access to it. He doesn't need to advertise any other way (the internet is easily accessible). As for ROM, it is nothing more than a bullshit title made up for nothing more than selling puppies, and claiming you got the best producing this or that (it was created by Patrick). I couldn't give a flying fuck if I ever had an "ROM" dog on my yard. ROM doesn't mean you have the best producer it means (more often than not) you had a decent producer that you bred the ball's off of. ROM doesn't tell any competent person anything...it's not about ROM it is about percentages. I am not what you would call a breeder, peddler or anything of the like....still a little fish in a big, big lake. Quit shoving your head up his ass, and take a chill pill. Later on, buddy....and have a good one.
