He is bred to produce. I dont think he is alive anymore unless he's 14 years old.

what does that mean, bred to produce, i thought that only goes for females... male had to prove himself in a sport

Dogs that are bred that tight usually dont see no action. They are just bred to produce and used as a outcross.

I could'nt disagree with you more here. I think this is an excuse used by peddlers. Now he may not be as good as a performer, but even tight bred dogs need to be certified to be in a breeding program. I say this, because it is just too easy to say "this dog is to tight and is bred to produce" Then you see them breed them to another untouched tight bred dog, to create a nice tight bred litter that will never get touched because they are "bred for brood". This can be the beginning of the end, unless a tight pedigree is all a person wants.

The more inbreed a dog is, they tend to lose skill/ability but carry a much bigger % of what the breeder is looking for, which is why some may say this ones just a stud. Anyway you got plenty of cold dogs that hit ROM/POR.

I don't see the point in breeding dogs that can't do the job.... the point is the job it's self and those who do the job the best.... regardless... breed for the JOB not because of ONE name in the pedigree... IMO a pedigree is MUCH MUCH prettier and more wanted by me if that pedigree is full MANY Ch's and Grch's and PROVEN real deal dogs than in 3 gens only 6 dogs that were off of One great dog........ but thats JMHO

I agree i think any dog used in a breeding program should be looked at at no matter how there papers look. But all in reality the people who own these pretty papered dogs dont do that. Thats the thing with our breed thats going in the shit hole is because breeders are asking $1000+ for a pup and when it comes to the age of going to school people dont do it because they dont want to see all that money go in the drain.

how can anyone really see if the dog has proven himself worthy of being bred anymore, the breed was bred to fight, and there is in no way that 3 curs and 2 catch dogs vs.1 hog can really test if a dog is game or not. It will tell you he can bite hard,it can tell you he is athletic. But that is nothing compared to 1 game proven dog vs. 1 up and coming dog. I don't like dog fighting but my grandpa tells me that you can take the gamest lines on earth breed them together , but if you don't test them you will never know if your breeding the good dogs out of the litter or the biggest bunch of curs on the face of the earth. (assuming) that you don't have the money to keep the whole litter. How can you legally really tell if the dog is game or not? The way he tells it to me it sounds like that engaging of 2 dogs in a fight isn't about money or having the most bad ass dog it is. It's making sure that when you do have 3 curs and 2 game catch dogs, and the pack splits on different hogs and you have already released the catch dogs they go to the opposite bays and you know you wont walk up on your dog running back to you with his tail between his legs.So how can you really test them any other way.

    Hello,

I like that see here Moca. He was really a great producer, he produce highest percent good dogs than a "regular good producer dog". So i think we can say he was/is a good provened producer.
We know that he not only good producer, than he produced good player and producer dogs too and this more important than a POR or ROM title.
