A Boxer yes, a Bull Mastiff umm it would have to be the worlds biggest APBT but still a possibility a Rottie mix yea I could deffinatly see that, but a Fila are you serious? Look at her picture that giant rolly bloodhound looking dog looks nothing absolutly nothing like an APBT. I guess a teacup poodle could look like an APBT too then.

You have to think of who we're dealing with. JQP doesn't know much about our breed & even those who know something about the breed think monsters like Whopper are APBTs. Whopper doesn't look remotely like an APBT, but you'd be surprised at how many people would challenge you that he is! Then to add to the confusion you have ugly APBTs like my dog Smokey (often mistaken for a Lab mix) & Barracuda.

Now you & I can see the difference of course. But would JQP know the difference - esp. some rookie cop who sees the dog in the dark & has been taught every big, short haired, vicious dog is a pit bull?

I didn't, Catcher. She figured it out on her own. I had no intention of having her hold that kind of a grudge, but she does, lol. The dog is freakishly intelligent. Her predecessor, Buffy, was the same way. The county deputies get a real kick out of it; so do some of the veteran cops that she's okay with.
