I'm not sure about Lesner beating Mir...I thought Nog was going to beat Mir but Mir made Nog look plain silly.

 

Nick Diaz is schedueled to fight Frank Shamrock in April..Strike Force purchased the contracts to many of the fighters from the now defunkt Elite XC..

Bader is a good fighter, but I think he needs a few more wins before he earns a chance to fight Machida. Machida should be getting a title shot sometime soon!

Aslo, I was told that Fedor's contract with Affliction only has one more fight left (most likely vs. barnett). After that expires hopefully we will see Fedor Vs. Lesnar

 

Lyoto fights at 205 and GSP at 170......extremely unlikely to happen. GSP would get KOed.

Anderson Silva fights at 185 and has ventured to the 205 category. Fedor fights no lighter than 223 lbs.

Lyoto and Anderson are very good friends. Anderson has stated on multiple ocassions that he will NEVER fight his friend Lyoto. In fact, Anderson has no desire to win the LHW b/c, as he stated, it is Lyoto's title [to win].

In regards to Fedor.....He does not sign a UFC contract not because of money but because the contract makes him a slave to the organization.


Nick Diaz vs Frank Shamrock will be a good one. I predict a Shamrock win. The sweet part of this fight is that Frank Shamrock KOed Nick Diaz's trainer (one of the Gracies). Nick will have an opportunity to avenge his "master".

One of Saturday's fights to look for is Chael Sonner vs Damian Maia

Chael Sonner was the WEC champion and defeated the previously undefeated Brazilian Paulo Filho. Shael Sonner was part of the US World Team Greco-Roman Wrestling Team. Damian Maia is a world class BJJ practitioner and winner of the highest BJJ titles in Brazil and world. It will be a classic Wrestler vs BJJ......each art is the best counter for the other.

If Diego Sanchez weight lost is not a factor, I predict Diego to win by at least a UD.
