What you mix with Ivomec

I was just wondering what you guys prefer to mix with Ivomec when given orally. Also what would you guys suggest to start giving pups to cover parvo, distemper,etc?

if they have parvo keep them hydrated with iv and wait it out, just keep them hyrdater with iv, they wont drink, and shoot them up with penicilin to prevent infections from weakened immuned system, ivomac should be mixed with propelyn glycol, you can buy online

 

Get your puppies there vaccinations if you want to prevent parvo or distemper.

 

No need to mix it with anything....

I mix mine with propelyn glycol.Its a carrier.

 

I do not have pups at this time, but I was just asking in general what would you guys recommend to vaccinate pups with when the time comes.

 

You can buy your puppy shots online which you can mix and administer yourself for a cheaper price than taking them to the vet. You do not have to mix ivomec with anything if you don't want to. i use a half of a cc of Ivomec by itself every 3weeks on my 5month old pups. It works good, no problems yet.

 

I've never used it but I just read some info on a vet suggesting mixing it with a liquid vitamin of some sort.

 

We don't mix anything with our Ivomec.

ivomac should be mixed with propelyn glycol,AND SOME STRONGIT T HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT LOL AS FAR AS THE PARVO AND OTHER USE A 7-N-1 SHOT.......................ONLY USE IT ONCE A MONTH..................................

 

There is no need to mix ivomec for heartworm preventive.

ivomec doesn't need to be mixed.Most people do it mainly to break the foul taste down for the dogs.I give them the ivomec then shoot a half syringe of liquid vitamins behind to ease it.

 

my vet told me that ivomec can cause problems with your dogs kidneys have anyone else heard of this or is my vet just trying to put the screws to me.

I heard the correct dose was 9 parts pg to one part ivomec then give 1/10th of a cc per 10 lb....Texas bulldogs said so.

the correct dosage for ivermec is 1/10th a cc..once a month just like the heart pills. also for cheep 7-1 shots.. check out your local co-op or farm and ranch store. 7-1 should be given ever 4 weeks till 16 weeks of age. then once a year after that.
