Thanks and again I hope you enjoy lookin as much as I like takin the pictures.

ALSO I CAN"T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT SHANE AND THE GEAR FROM STILLWATER!
thats the 1.5inch deerskin collar and 6ft leash for those whom are interested. the bitch has to have the most sensitive skin of any dog, nylon tears her apart, however as you can see the deerskin is soft. I put some Proofhide (leather treatment) on the outer layer of leather, making it more supple, waterproof, and also slightly darker. THANKS SHANE!!!

Thanks for the response. I feed her raw. based around 2 things, chicken back and others ( veggies, liver, fish, eggs, live culture yogurt and whatever else). I try to feed 3% of her weight but dont weigh the meal every time nor her every week:o I'm excited shes old enough to start thinking about doing some conditioning, ill be exercising her more than before for the next few months.
thanks again, I'm a student in college but also a student here, any information or responses are appreciated!

  5. If you're not doing any strenuous exercise with her I'd definitely be taking that down to 2%.

so as the dog gets heavier you feed more because the amount you feed is calculated on that percentage of the dogs overall weight.....lol:p

just muck'n with ya. yeh she looks like a nice girl, but she has some pure fat to work off, very round. buy some good shoes and get that walking happening.

for a matter of interest to me, what do you think of her weight and what you may concider a good weight for her.

yes, ive read the post and i know she's young and youve allready stated, that you can finally get some shape into her. just so ya know where im com'n from, thats all.;)

She's cute. She really looks ALOT like one of my old fosters, Emily. :)

Is liver the only organ you are giving her? I'd try to add more if you could find it. I found it hard to get much in the grocery store {city girl here! lol} besides liver, kidney and heart but I started picking up some of the organ patties from Urban Carnivore. I don't know if she does good on beef, but the beef offal patties are great as it's the only place I found that mixes in lung, spleen, etc... It's a great way to add variety to you dogs diet. Well worth it if you can get it in your area and don't have access otherwise.

    Thanks for the post!
Like i say i think shes fat! lol
Id like to see her in perfect health someday soon. this picture of lil tater is my ideal, im not trying to say that i want my dog to look like lil tater but i like his level of conditioning. I think most all pictures of adba dogs look healthy.

also to the post regarding organ meat, yes im having a hard time finding local ofal. im trying to find green tripe but may just have to order it, and eat the shipping costs myself. (north florida)

In the pic of her pointing, she looks slightly more lean, so looks wise she should be able to look real nice. 14 months is up their for really starting some good conditioning, post some pics of her in a couple months;)
