Are you sure they are missing? Could just look like it if it's on both sides.

yes i'm sure man. 2 from each side, symetricaly. i cant remember if she had puppy teeth there but no adult teeth came out.

was wondering if this is or not common and if anyone has seen it before

Yes... I have seen dogs with missing teeth. My girl Marz was missing two pre molars on the top. My friend's boy also has the same but he's missing two sets of his top pre molars. It's quite the gap! lol

It is genetic and not desired in UKC conformation. In ADBA it doesn't matter. (someone correct me if I am wrong) You see it in some bloodlines like my redboy/Jocko and her litter mates, parents, grandparents, all having missing teeth on the bottom, the first pre-molar. Not to say all RB/Jocko have missing teeth but these dogs in her line do. I have several dogs in my house missing the bottom pre molars, it is normal.

thank you for your replies!!! good to see nothing is wrong and thats something that happens sometimes.

do you think it may have to do with side effects of too much inbreeding? or completely irrelevant?

It's a genetic trait just like anything else.;)
