question on pedigree papers

ive got a very athletic staff i was wondering if the fact that hes k.c registerd can protect him from bsl if someone decides hes an apbt, i live in england.

i like the way you phrased this one lol, but that word is highly offensive to most women i know. it's the epitomy of the no-no. as for your question, what exactly is the law in england? i know that APBT's are banned, but are AST's and SBT's? if you could verify that your dog is not an APBT, and the other breeds are not banned, you should be ok. best of luck to you!

 

sorry about that i hadnt been able to read the rules before i posted,and of the dogs you mentioned only sbt's are legal,im asking because if i didnt know otherwise i would of thought he was an apbt and was curious if the registration would carry any weight considering its all 'pit-bull types' that are banned.

 

Nope kc registration wont save the dog ,once a dog has ben declared type thats it ,they are well aware of Staffordshire Bull Terrier KC reg being hung on a dog to hide it ,it even states it on DEFRA website ,plus it also tells people not to bring Amstaffs to Britian because registration wont save them from being declared type either

represented in the prohibited types the dog could be seized and its fate decided by the
courts irrespective of the paperwork. It is therefore necessary to be very cautious when

it also says staff judges and senior police dog handlers will judge if they are seen to be pitbull type.Another question i had is; can anyone report a dog as being a pitbull?or is it just a vet? my vet is seems very anti pit-bull he keeps askin if im sure my dog didnt come from 'pit-bull' type parents and warning me how dangerous they can be :rolleyes:
