    Satin Balls

    Dog Food Recipe Ingredients:
    Cheap hamburger meat [high fat content}
    Lg box of Total Cereal
    Lg box of uncooked oatmeal
    1 jar of Wheat Germ
1 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1 1/4 cup of unflavored molasses
    10 eggs
    10 packs of unflavored gelatin
    Garlic to Taste
    1 cup of flaxseed...ground up.
    2 scoops of Source/Kelp
    Dog Food Recipe Directions:
Take all dry ingredients and place in a bowl. I crunch up the total while still in the box, and then pour all the other dry ingredients over it In a another large bowl put the hamburger meat and the wet ingredients. Mix each bowl well, then half each so that it is easier to mix. Mix just like you would a meatloaf I then take it raw, and place in freezer bags and put in the freezer, thaw out a bag as needed.
Use this not only as a quick weight gain, but as a everyday supplement for your dogs. This recipe really keeps their coat black/soft/long. You can make this recipe in what ever amount you need/want by just halving the recipe down to what you want.

    Thanks for posting that Buck.
That is similar to the recipe I use except that I don't use the Total cereal. That has a lot of sugar in it so I use Kellogs All Bran Flakes instead. There is still some sugar in it but not as much. I also use olive oil instead of vegetable oil. The above recipe would be for 10 pounds of Hamburger meat, which will be A LOT!!!! I usually make a smaller batch of 2 lbs of meat and adjust the remaining ingredients according to that. Also, all ingredients are raw and uncooked and you would add the eggs with shell. Just crumble them up and add them to the mix. I also add just a pinch of salt to my mixture.

  4. Do you have pics of your dogs after they have been on this diet?

There is some pics of my dogs in the intro section and I posted a recent video of them in off topic.
Remember though, this is not the end all diet. You have to adjust it to your dog and your dogs needs. You obviously wouldn't feed chicken if the dog was allergic to it, the same goes for dairy products. I posted it as a guideline if you will for those looking into a raw diet but are afraid to make the switch. The beauty of a raw diet is the variety you can feed your dog while maintaining all the nutritional needs and knowing where the food is coming from and what's in it. One thing I would like to mention though is if you are seriously considering the switch, make sure you do your research beforehand and gather a bit of nutritional data for the ingredients. You want to make sure to keep things fairly balanced and remember to keep the Phosphorus : Calcium ratio in mind. Hope this helps.

I Feed Moose meat, chicken, boiled hamburger cause its dated, beaver, wild rabbit. i shot 5 beavers one night and quartered it and gave the pups full quarter of beaver meat and they 2/3's finished it then gave it to an older dog, but it stays fresh in my chest deep freeze in the shed. they can eat i think safely when they are confidently eating kibble for a 2-3 week period and grind it cause they will swallow hot dogs hole, if you gave a young dog a piece its what they do. They seem to have to gulp it down all the time till 1 yr and soup bones are safe the 4''x4''x4'' cubed knuckles. and joints of beef.

Honestly I did! Till I was told about 2-3 weeks ago that I shouldn't feed my dogs pork at all it makes them sick. (he trains the police dogs in Wales

I have heard before it gives them parasites/worms, and allergic reactions and so on, I only feed them big unsalted hams and pork shoulders cause it was 2 yrs old, and we get fresh stuff every year for ourselves. they got sausages, chops..........

It has probably no nutritional value, Like beef,Chicken.
    (just a thought)

I would ask a vet they would know I guess but ask 4 of them in your area.
I will ask 4 in my area and right your answers here later cause i think it it might be the underlined but not sure!

In wild animals you will find they have a high protein, and low fat content but, they are a good source of food never the less. So i feed kibble too to get the fat. I did use pork but found that some will puke it up and others have no problem! and with the new info whether it right or wrong, about pork making them sick and i don't think you can feed it raw either like beef or beaver or rabbit or chicken....

but i would like top learn more about the pork subject cause i make venison/pork sausages for my self and would like to make a frozen barf diet for the dogs that packs in the freezer nice. so i have to do some more research on the pork issue.;)
