i love when people call something scatterbred just cause they dont know what they're looking at. That dog has some old fashion blood, the red devil stuff is good stuff. Very few people have it and you have it with a good cross. Jeep/Rascal is a proven working cross. That dog should be a good one, i would have high hopes for that dog if i were you. I'm sure he's probably one hyper little shit right now, bouncing off the walls.

I know what I am looking at but who's to say what the unknown part is. I love when people assume things, and look like a jackass. There is some good stuff in there yes, but there is also unknown in there. Unless you know what it is I would calm down, and stop assuming things. I have a fair amount of knowledge in these dog's, and don't feel like I was making a rediculous statement. I am pretty sure not many people here need you doing a weak ass break down and saying that there is red devil blood along with jeep and rascal stuff in there anyone can see that wow Jeep/Rascal is a proven cross? Thanks so much for that I thought people were doing it all these years unproven, and without knowledge of what they are doing, and I would feel pretty safe to say that yes since it is a pup it does have alot of energy thanks for more valuable insight on dog behavior.

 

The dog is not tightly bred. He is also not Scatterd. Tharefore some people are going to see the ped as being cohesive and to others the breeding may be to loose for there likeing. No one is right or wrong. As for not alot of people haveing Red Devil Blood ..I have to dissagree....also there is the unknown part of the pedigree. Who knows how manny other lines are in that part of the ped.

 

Oh my, did i strike a nerve!! I'm always calm, its keeps the blood pressure down. A week breakdown, was needed, especially when a fairly knowledgeable guy such as yourself says scatterbred in the same sentence as that dog mentioned. Every dog has unknown if you go back far enough, even yours do somewhere down the road. Just because its unlisted doesn't make it completely unknown. A fairly knowledgeable guy would know such a thing. I'm sure i've given far more valuable insight on this board then you have. So stop being a grump, take a deep breath and relax yourself. LOL

 

Nope you struck no nerve but I don't consider that a tight bred dog either. I do know what I am looking at I saw the same thing. Yes all dog's have unknown if you go far enough back as well as mine, and yours that I am not debating, and I understand that it doesn't have to be listed to be unknown if they know what it was then why not share so a more solid opinion can be formed? The norrod stuff is not hard to get ahold of either if you got the money you can get one just as with any other big name. There is plenty of it out there to be had. Maybe I was not totally correct when I said it was scatterbred but I don't feel I was completely off base with that statement either. I am not trying to be a grump. I will say that the dog is not bred tight.

Real one never said there was a damn thing wrong with a scatterbred dog. Ever herd of Gr ch streetsweeper or Gr. ch. Virgal??? He never said he dont or wouldent own one and scatterbred is not a knock on a dog it is what it is.

 

Nope it's not tight bred at all never said it was. Good cross though. If you look at my peds they are all crosses. I have no beef with crosses at all some of the best producers, and most highly regarded dogs in history have been crosses OR scatterbred. Virgil, Jeep, Mayday, Barracuda, Chinaman, Frisco, boyles stock, and the list goes on, and on. I never knocked your dog and know you are trying to drag my shit into this that's fine here are a few more for you to look at.

Here is one we own I consider her about as scatterd as the one you posted wouldent trade her for the world. Scaterbred dogs make good outs when things are getting to tight imo.A good scaterbred dog with some like lines that is.

Now I dont nessisaraly consider her completely scatterbred mostly Boogieman/Eli jr (boogieman has a signifigant amount of eli blood himself) But if another doger were to call her scatterbred I would see where he is comeing from and keep my pantys from getting all bunched up

 

You want me to tell you your dog is the tightest bred most solid bred dog around is that what you are looking for? Even when I said it was not tight bred you got all upset. Don't ask people's opinion of your dog if you can't handle it.

 

I'm trying to figure out how this was saying something is wrong with that dog? You asked an opinion. You got it, if you don't want other people's opinions, don't ask. Honestly, that dog looks a bit scatterbred to me, too, but who cares? A good dog is a good dog. We've got scatterbred dogs. He never said we didn't, or that anything is wrong with that.
