Question About A Pregnant Gyp

I Have 1 At 63 Days From Breeding So Shes Due Anytime,but,,,,,she Has Milk Coming Out Tits And Laying Around More But Shes Not Fat Shes A Lil Bigger Than Uasual But False ?or Maybe Just 1 Pup?any Opinions?????????????????????????

i was thinking the same thing but was just wondering if anyone else ever had the same problem?shes got a appointment at 3 today

 

I think it might be 1 big dog, let me know if thats the case i'll make you an offer,lol

 

hehehehe ill sure keepya in the loop ive just never seen 1 milk and have a false 1 but i guess its possible thats why i called the vet ..........

Sometimes they do milk up and are not pregnant...but sometimes they carry up real high in the ribs, especially if it is only a pup or two....

I have one like that right now. She is due at the first of next week. And shes the exact same way. laying around, a little milk, and shes bigger in her upper chest but not real big, but her stomach is about the same. Her tits have drop barely...so we aren't sure if she is pregnant or not either.

 

I have a female that only carries about 4 pups anytime.she always carries in her ribcage and last pregnancy I didnt think she took,but she did.She's a built female to start,so I would definately have her set up.Take her temperature and once it drops below 100(usually less than 98) she will drop em within 24 hours.I have also seen dogs go for almost a week over their due date.So just keep a close eye on her,and if you see her going into labor,but she doesnt produce anything in a couple hours bring her to the vet.I don't usually let one go for more than an hour between pups,but most of my vet care I do on my own,such as turning the pups or releasing a stuck one.But when it comes to a cesarian,off they go.

Our gyp was due Wednesday and hadn't dropped yet. Shes a little bigger in the rib cage area and her tits have a little milk in them, but shes still just as active as she ever was..

I had a bitch that carried her pups 69 days after the last breeding. she was huge though..lol she had 10..But Midnite didnt even start to show until like 3 weeks before her due date..I was starting to think she didnt take..Alot of of deep ribbed dogs carry pups high in the rib cage so they dont start to show until they start to move closer to the birth canal..Midnite ended up with 8 pups..I attached a pic of her 4 weeks before her due date then one 2 weeks before..She never go really huge ..Every bitch is different some carry low some carry high in the rib cage..I also know someone who's bitch carried her pups until the 72 day after the last breeding..LOL he said they were crawling out when she delivered them.. Then there is bitches that go through false pregnacy and really look pregnant..get a belly..make milk..nest ..and even go through a "fake" labor..panting, shivering..everything but actually delivering pups!! SouthAL let us know when she has them! Swamper you too!

 

We put her back on her chain today. She was due anywhere from May 23-27th and hadn't done anything. She looked like she was carrying them in her rib cage and her tits have a lil milk in them, but i think she just had a false pregnancy. We had waited so long for her to come in heat.., I guess we will try it again next time.

sorry to hear that swamper...SouthAL it sucks when you miss a breeding you been waiting on! I guess shes either a really early ovulater or a really late one! I have a bitch that doesnt ovulate until her 17 or 18th day of heat!

 

Yea she was like that. She wasn't ready to breed until like day 17 or so..Im just hoping I will walk out there and see a pup laying there with her..lOl..doubtful though
