I am going to make one last comment on a recent thread posted by myself, since it was closed after someone else got to say their peace, but I could not.

If anything, the irrevelant parts of that post should be deleted, leaving only the relevant information to the original question so someone else will not have to go through the same ordeal in order to gain info.

And I will also add that I might not show as much mouth or skill (with words) as some, but as a proud owner of not only game-bred dogs, but proven game dogs, I will scratch all day. And if that prompts someone else to close another one of my threads or ban me, so be it. But I won't just lay down and die, I'll keep coming til my last breath.

FWIW, I thought it was pretty crappy that the thread was closed after Texas got his final say-so. He is correct in his info, but he'd get through to a lot more people if he'd work on his delivery. And it seems as though he just has to have the last word...:rolleyes:

 

well i guess that is the benefit of being the administrator, right?? cranky i hope you actually did get an answer to your question that helped your buddy, it would have all been a waste if you were not able to find what you were looking for

We all get into debates with certain people, whether it's here or in life. It's nothing more than simple miscommunication or misunderstandings, or sometimes conflict of personalities. I think the best thing to do as true bulldog owners and as respectable persons is to make ammends at the end of any disagreement. That way there are no hard feelings and we can all stick together as a family and continue educating the world and helping our breed. I'm sure Crankydog and Texas will make a truce as they are both knowledgable and respectable people. They both expressed their points and in the end like everyone should do they will MAKE AMMENDS.......


Come on guys, we all need both of you here to help others, so can we be friends now? Please

All I ask, all anyone asks, is to be respected and given the benefit of the doubt without being scorned or put down or ridiculed for no apparent reason. And yes, things do get heated when someone feels that they are being treated in an unjustified way. Delivery IS very important in getting the proper message across.

But hey, I have learned from the experience, so it will only make me a smarter (cranky)dog for my next event...I'll still scratch all day (back to that ol' hog), and sometimes that's enough...

And by the way, the real winner in all this, regardless of what else came about, is that my friend's female is doing just fine. Actually, soaking her foot in the ice water started the swelling going down and the Benedryl only helped after that.

The thread was closed not so people couldn't get in their last words, because it had gone soooooo far of topic that it no longer was relevent to the intial post. That's why it was closed. But feel free to open a new thread. Each thread should stick to it's original post/idea. If it strays, then a new thread should be started. So instead of taking it as a "so there :p " kinda thing, take it for what it was. A thread that got waaaaay off topic.

 

Cool!!! sounds good to me. I'm busting at the seems to tell my latest news. But, I'd better just keep my mouth shut. Who says blue aint game.

 

Well I got to say my peace on this new thread, and thank you for clearing that up for me, Miakoda, on why the old thread was closed. Even so, if anyone with the power feels like deleting any irrelevant information posted by myself and others that strayed from my original question, I would certainly be a proponent of that.

And the female is doing great, which is what the whole thing should have stayed about anyway.

Good, another believer has risen......They are out there, just a few but those few ain't no joke. Too many people breeding blues for looks, don't get me wrong, I don't mind my dogs looking nice, but actual respect comes from accomplishments. It's good to see another one out there.
