Well most dogs are curs, true game dogs are the exception. I don't believe people know true meaning of manbiters. Some dogs are territorial some are just crazy excite dogs and some are true I hate everything. Ive own dogs that would eat the next mans ass if he stepped into his spot but wouldn't touch me, y'all would call him a manbiter, I wouldn't. They say Chinaman was a little nippy, say QoH was also. Many dogs have tried to eat a human.

I was there when Bullyson quit and when Nigger quit. They both stood on the line and would not go. I can see the look of 'I want to go home' in each of their eyes. My Alvin dog was hurt much worst than either of them and made a crawling stumbling courtesy scratch in a 5 seconds clocked time. I didn't have to make excuses for him. Some big time dog-men of that era said Bullyson was in shock. Yet no person that was not connected to Bullyson through Breeding or bloodline. Said he didn't quit. Only those with the Bullyson bloodline of dogs said he didn't quit. Now about Nigger. Old man Forsythe had him and he was called Blackshine back them. There were three people there when Nigger quit. I was one of them. He went longer than 6 minutes though and it was just a roll to check another dog. Maloney and Merriman bought him from forsythe. They took him and rolled him and brought him back. They traded him back to Forsythe in a couple of days. He undoubtedly quit then but I didn't see him quit that time. Back in the old days I fought lots of dogs. One of the best dogs I ever had was off Nigger. I saw lots of good dogs off both NIgger and Bullyson. They were great producers. I have an advantage on you guys because I saw their off-springs fight and they were good dogs. Mike Kelly had a Bullyson dog that was a great dog and he lived about 5 miles from me. He whip some good dogs with him. I could have bought Nigger for 15 dollars and my friend Charley Adkisson is still alive and can verify this. When they quit I would not have had either of them. Yet after seeing the young dogs Mayfield had off nIgger that were good and the many dogs off Bullyson that were good. I'd give lots of money for those two curr dogs to breed to this day and time. Bobby Hall never would admit for years Bullyson quit but later in life stood up and told the truth in an interview. Your not thinking if you wouldn't buy and breed to two dogs that ended up being top of the food chain on producing. I wish I had them two today to breed to. Everytime I write something people come right behind me making up stuff to undo what I write. Yet it is all true. Randy Fox

There were all kind of rumors back them how Rick and Marty died. There was a squabble about a dog. Somone said they robbed the man that picked up the daily gambling collections. There were couple of more stories floating around. I do know that there was an on going argument about a stolen dog. The rest is might be true or might be fiction. As a working man back then I worked hard for every penny I made. I was trying to match a dog in the 70's and the man kept going up in the amount of money he wanted to fight for. He was mouthing at me about some high price match he would fight at me for. I didn't have that kind of money. Rick Halliburton handed me a wad of money in front of him and everybody and said shut him with this. The man quickly walked off. I tookit that he didn't really have that kind of money either. I liked Rick for doing that and he became a friend. If a person is good to me. I like then no matter what they are. Back then, if someone was bad to me. I wasn't a good enemy to have. I forgot to say. When Bullyson fought into Clouses friend and Clouse hand his dog. Bullyson had that dog all but dead in 15 minutes. Bullyson was so hot at that point. He dropped his holt and looked straight up in the air. I showed Earl Tudor a photo of Bulolyson Looking straight up in the air panting. Ear; said you will se that dog quit someday and I did. I also forgot to say about Rick Halliburton and Marty reed's death. Bobby Smith took me out their to the chickenfighting pit where they died. It was still taped of with that yellow tape. There were outlines of their bodies there. The police said that one of them ran from the guys and one of then ran at the guys that killed them. Some said their were two shooters. It made me nervous to look at the blood in the grass and the paint outlining their bodies. I could see both men just laying there in my minds eye. I know it was terrible for their families.

Bullyson sure fought a good fight till he quit for a rub to have been on the other dog. Usually a dog that was rubbed cause the dog to drop holts a lot. That didn't happen. I do not know why people keep making excuses for him. He quit, He wasn't game. I have some dogs that go back to him that I like. But I'm man enough not to kid myself. He fought to fast and hard and always got hot when he fought. When crossed with the right bitches it slowed them down a little so they could stay longer and win. That is what happened but everyone will makes excuses for him. He simply had the wrong pace for a pitdog.

 

The picture on the website was of the fight he quit in was it not randy??
