    I will second that, not quite used to the new colour yet but I'm getting there.
    As for the site, I love it, spend half my time here, the missus hates it but what does she know, I spend so much time in front of the screen I'm going blind.

    I thank you on behalf of the staff. The look is only but one small aspect of the changes.

    Game-dog.com is going back to it's roots. It is no longer ok to apologize for owning a game-bred dog. The dog must be respected for the work it may perform.

    It was felt that the thank you button was or would be abused. We did however bring back the PRIDE of owning game bred stuff.

    We had to make some difficult staff decisions. Unfortunately, not all of our decisions will be popular with everyone, but were made with the forum's best interest in mind.

    Did you even bother to read the announcement?

    Marty is still a Super Moderator.

    Hemi is still a member, he hasn't been banned, he is still welcome to contribute to the site, and you can certainly still go to him for help. I don't understand how the transition from between being a moderator to a member makes him less knowledgeable or less able to help you.

    Because this is a business decision, and it involves a member of the staff, no further discussion of this topic will be pursued with you or any other member. It compromises the values and ethics of professionalism and integrity.

    Again, I would like to reiterate that not all of our decisions will be popular with everyone, not everyone will like all of the changes we have planned, but we do hope the majority will. Game-dog has stagnated for too long, and change is needed for it to grow and succeed in the future. Life is a process of growing and changing, when you stop that process, you cease to grow, which is what game-dog did. Stick around, you might enjoy the ride...:)

    Ouch! You knew the heat was comin from the members in here so take it as it comes. It's good that THIS SITE will get a chance to live on. Just one thing tho is this gonna be a mirror image of the PITBULL-CHAT Forum we don't need two of the same sites!:rolleyes:

    No. Pit Bull Chat is a very diversified community. We have game dog owners, pet owners, rescue people, etc. and for the most part, all of our members co-exist respectfully and learn from each other without any drama.

    Game-dog.com is just that, a forum that preserves the breed in it's original form. BUT, it needed change. Change is a good thing. :)

    Questions with good intentions will be answered, however, questions with undertones of sarcasm will get answers delivered with the same. :D

    Pit Bull Chat was built 2 1/2 years ago to serve a completely different member base than what Game-Dog attracts. In that small amount of time, we have managed to capture over 10,000 members, and a very diverse member base that includes APBT owners, pet owners, American Bully owners, and some members who don't even own pit bulls. It's a very successful forum for the small amount of time that it's been in existence.

    Now, let's see, I've been a member on Game-Dog since 2005. (How's that for a tree hugger?) You since 2008. See, I remember the old days. I remember the members that used to patronize this site and share their knowledge. I remember the way the site was run, and how the moderators ran the site with dignity and respect.

    We would like to see the site be restored to it's former self and more. It may not be possible to get those old members back, but we can rebuild it with quality, respectable new members who are willing to share their knowledge. It's your choice to make if you would like to be on board or not.:)
