Some thing happened and I guess I will find out. <O:p</O:p
I don’t let dogs run around but one individual says different<O:p</O:p
He clams my dogs were running around at night (a false statement) He also says my dogs are vicious (a false statement)<O:p</O:p
This is ironic since he has 5 dogs in his home that are vicious? <O:p</O:p
He has made me an out cast with his false statements which I can only imagine <O:p</O:p
These days when I walk my dogs on a leash people are yelling at me to keep my dogs away from them 100 feet, If I tie my dogs to a 18 foot chain he calls me on phone (drunk) and yells that it’s cruel to tie them up, If and when I let my dogs pull my kids on a wagon as I also use the leash he gives me a dirty look. ALL IN ALL I can do no right thing with my dogs to who ever lives near me, I feel I will become a victim of lies and false statements that will make my dogs out to be some thing they are not, How can I battle false statements?, I am becoming paranoid and wonder what the lies are he is saying , I called the dog warden and he clams at this time I am only getting a warning "don’t let dogs run loose" and people are scared of my dogs. He asked me are they PBs …… ? Bunch of crap this is

i understand, unfortunately you have to go to the cops if you feel threatened, providing your yard is clean and the dogs have never scrapped, even by accident cos if they see old scars they will be all over your ass.

I get some of the same treatment from 1 of my neighbours, except i do not know who it is.

i keep getting anon letters in my mailbox about my dog barking alnight, which he doesnt cause he sleeps inside with us, and that he sounds lonly and hurt, all lies, had dog control over a few times and the spca they were both happy with the way my dog lives, its getting to the point of harrasment and very frustrating because i dont who it is.

 

Video tape everything, set up some surveillance cameras on your yard and also video tape when you are playing with the dogs, tape there chains spots and condition of the dogs.

record all phone calls cause this can be evidence of harrasment

Yep i would say start a paper trail pertaining to threats and harrasment. Record all calls, set up the cameras cus next thing you know your dogs will be dropping like flies. After you get a good paper trail and some solid evidence, sue his ass. Last but not least i would start getting ready for the beat down cause it sounds like that what it is coming to, and you dont wanna be on the losing end.

 

Where are you from? In florida we shoot people that harm us. Its call right to defend. next time he hits ya show his ass what hot lead feels like.

 

If you feel threatened by this person, file a police complaint against this person for harassment. Carry your cell phone/camera at all times when walking your dog. Never leave your dogs un-supervised. This person might harm them.

Has this person officially made a complaint against your dogs or is this person just in your face?

Stay calm, walk your dogs on leash and ignore this person. Please show this breed in a positive light. Remember, what is on the "other" end of the leash sets the example for this breed.

 

I totally agree, record him talking crap to you. Record your dogs with kids and people in general. Ask the AC dude to come pet them. Fight the warning since he cannot prove your dogs were off leash. Complaint about HIS dogs to the same AC guy.

 

dam!!! whatever your going to do do it quick. I had a similar problem with my neighbor and i just ignore it now the AC believes every little thing she says. When I say she lies the AC dude just says who is he suppose to believe someone who gets the complaint all the time or the neighbor. I was like F*** whatever. Now it calmed down cause my bro curse the shit out of the old lady and i think she is scared now.

 

This person did call AC and also said my dogs growl at him , To really under stand the situation this man has 5 dogs Lab, Golden Akita mix, Aus Sheppard , Pom ,and a Snow dog. I tell no lie his dogs are vicious , my wife told me a story that once when I was not home , a nip the Pom put on my son (no blood ) but a nip wile on my property for no reason , (The lab is sweet and why not I gave it to him ) I used to have a red nose, a real pacifist and his Pom bit my dog on his nose (a blood bite this time) and I was so proud my dog he did not respond on the Cur dog, for me he was my best dog who would not even give time or day to a cur, but that dog is another story.
I feel so stupid, a time ago I was always being the nice guy ,Understanding , a fare guy ,Dog Lover, overlooking the actions of his dogs . This mans dog did nip my son bit my dog ,and bark very menacing I guess they are nasty like this man, they say dogs are like there master.

Don’t walk that dog near me ever; keep it 100 feet from me and my kids (I have 4 kids by the way)and another woman neighbor is looking at my smaller dog also with such fear and distain. What the heck did this neighbor guy with truly vicious dogs say and lie about my dogs I am pissed.

You need to walk your dog on leash, and not respond in any way. Carry a cell phone with you and record any negative comments you get. Then, file a harassment complaint with the police. Then, you need to play back the recording to AC.

For those of you who are saying to beat the person's ass......is that really how you want to portray this breed? People are going to look at the pit bull, then look at the other end of the leash and see a lunatic.

Owners of this breed have to represent the breed in a positive light. You don't have a choice. You love the breed. You want the breed. Well then, do the right thing.

 

The plot thickens; my dogs are with me all day, just for there safety from peoples lies. During the night the dogs are in the home not out side by themselves, but some thing killed a cat I know it was not my dogs but they are getting the blame, (Happily that is !!) A complaint was made to AC with a claim at 1:30 Am Thursday (THAT’S THURSDAY) some one says my dogs are running loose. Now on FRIDAY into Saturday AM hours <O:p</O:p
That’s when the cat is killed so I’m kind confused I would like them to get there story correct. Was it Thur Fri or Sat when the dogs were loose , cause aside from every thing my whole family including the dogs were sound asleep, any way things seem to be getting mellow, but I am on pins and needles a bit
I live in the country and we have lots of Raccoons Bear Fox Skunk Frotters Ground hogs Weasels Coyote Bobcats Other dogs so any thing is possible.

 

As many have stated, you need to start collecting your evidence. What that person is doing is going to work if you don't take an intelligent approach to combat it.

Where I live, just calling you to complain is harrasment, he needs to call the police. I'd record all those with a simple machien sold at any Raido Shack...

Cell phone pics suck, carry a digital cam and when your neighbors are helling at you, record the video, call the police and claim harrasment.

Once you have the evidence you need, start generating a ton of work for AC and the Police. You will know when you have changed the perspective of AC and the Police to be on your side, then unload everytime you have a problem.

If you see one of his dogs running lose, start recording the video. Then go walks near it and pray it gets hostile or even bites you on video. Its a hit I'd be willing to take to reverse what could become a very sad story for you and your family.

Who's cat was killed? Leash laws apply to cats aswell and if they are exzempt from this law. There is usualy a nuesence law that they can fall under provided they do not remain on the owners property.

 

AC usualy have traps that they will lend to you if you have a issue that needs to be adressed in your area.
