I can remember RP posting a proof of shipping on his message board,i think it was. Anyway it had an Irishmans name & address clear to see on it. Not the proper way to go about things in my opinion & i sure would'nt have been happy.
I had one of his mills & for what i paid,it was money well spent. It had the inline wheels on though & i have seen others with the noisy steel wheels,which dont run as true. You need to tinker with them mills & maintain them to run well..............

moving right along, does anyone here have experience working a dog with one of this guy's carpet mills? I'm planning on going to the Dog Trotter guy in West VA for a slat mill in a few months or so, but I like to keep both mill types for a nice variety. I currently have a carpet mill from Gand Carpet Mill in MI, but the belt wore out kinda quick so I'm looking for a different one to go with. His carpet mills look good, but after reading about all the customer service issues people have had in doing business with this guy, I want to think about whether it would be worth risking the headache for a high quality mill. Thanks for any info..

looks good JW have you supplied many or are you still in the design stage ?

 

have made fair amount of mills but not this design, I wanted to make a quality solid mill, but to build this type its costing me a lot of money so I have only sold a few, so its early days. Most people want cheap and cheerful which is fair enough but you get what you pay for

 

thats very true justin and after testing yours and one or two others i still saving cos i reckon yours are worth a spin atb phil

 

Arfter running pup on one of jw's mills i would say they are well worth the money a bit dear but you get what yuo pay for.

 

how much are they and what spec are they ie what are the wheels made of and what rating is the bearings inside them ?

 

how are they protected from rust? poweder coating? hammerite? galvanized?

 

I recently contacted RPMillmaker about shipping and they replied to my email with shipping costs. So you guys are saying this is a scam?
