Frisco Dogs

What are some faults in this line and what outcrosses could possibly be made to correct them?

 

i havent had any pure frisco stuff but i hear just like most that they are known to quit on top. i have it crossed with eli tab an mine has mouth is game with smarts to back. so i would say tab might fix what they lack. im sure somebody else can offer a opinion from hands on also

 

We use the Frisco crossed with Butcherboy. We also have it crossed to Linebred Boudreaux Maverick and they have "finish moves" when in the hunt. Crossed to straight Redboy or Redboy/Jocko also intensifies their drive to succeed.

 

Thanks, I'm looking into gettin somethin off dynomite and was wondering what a good outcross would be if he turned out the way i want him to.

 

Never seen that Much friso stuff but I always say that a good Eli or redboy cross between them will do it good

Ive seen "frisco" dogs....good dogs but from what ive seen they lack"wind"..imo a good cross is frisco x tombstone/bolio/redboy...that will add some wind and some smartness to a bulldog...i have a boy thats tombstone/bolio/redboy on top and mtn man/frisco/chinamin on bottom...and he is a well put together bulldog..

I have nothing but the tightest Frisco dogs.
Also got a Dynomite dog that is nothing but Frisco top, bottom, and side ways.
Sorry but I have to disagree, Frisco dogs have tremendous wind, mouth, intelligence, athletic ability, prey drive, and temperment.
So give Dynomite a try, you may like it.

 

I also wouldnt consider my dog lacking wind (Dyno x Muy Malos).

 

That's a common misconception. That the "whatever" line lacks wind. Some strains just tend to have one gear: and that gear is straight forward full speed ahead. That leads to a tendency to not pace themselves for a long hunt. But a good conditioner knows what he has and knows how to condition their animal accordingly. Also BTW most Dynomite dogs lack nothing if its a good dog in the correct hands. Patience is key. Let your pups grow up to be whatever they're gonna be then make decisions.

PUre frisco dogs can fool ya. However, I have seen a couple FriscoxRedboy crosses that were very solid dogs.

 

I have experience with frisco dogs and they worked for me very good I like to cross them in Eli,Tab or Bolio and of course some Ham blood are a nice out for them too.

 

love my frisco and seem to have more then enough wind and finish ...

 

Have a Pure Frisco Bitch and 3 Frisco/Redboy pups!

Frisco Bitch is wild!!!!!! And the Redboy/Frisco's are coming along good!, two more than the third but lots of time still to develop.

 

Can't say one bad thing about my frisco dogs and the ones that have some frisco in them... They all have wind major mouth & great temperment... We'll be testing there gameness too.. Good luck fellas here's my main stud so far..
