I haven't had my first APBT from gamelines yet...

However, my first intro. to the bully breeds was my boyfriend's Amstaff, Notch.

Later his friend Melvin had two pit bulls, and that is how I got my APBT (possibly mixed), Tess. Once I got Tess, I started to do some research, and have really liked learning more about the breed.

twenty five years ago my dad took me to a friend of his place to pick a puppy out, he was a black nosed buckskin dog no idea of the background but i would assume he was good, the fella had just imported twenty dogs from the usa over the previous six months and this was a "payment" for a gun he got from my old man and couldnt pay for it. dad apparently told mum he had bred our whippet , with this guys staff and this is what we got! living in the country, we used him to hunt most of the time and he was a good dog with plenty of brains, saved me from snakes three times while we were hunting feral cats in the bush. he got hit by three cars and just strolled up the driveway like he had beat the cars up everytime. back then we just let our dogs do what they want and they would always stay at home, but not ben, hence why he would get into so much trouble.
he got shot when he was three, because he was hanging around someones place that had a bitch on heat. gutted i wouldve been eight years old.
dad never told me what sort of dog he was till i came home with a bulldog he told me why we got ben and what he was.
i used to look at the pictures of him and not even realise what he was, now i look at them and wonder how i never picked it.

This is my first Pitbull, Ace. I got him when he was 5 weeks old because his mom stopped feeding him and his litter mates and the owners were too busy to do it themselves so they were getting rid of them at a young age. Now he is 11 months old. I love him i've always wanted a pitbull when i was growing up but my parents were too scared to get one. We grew up with German Shepherds because they were the safer breed but just as protective. Soon as i got back from the Marine Corps i got Ace. My parents will trust him with an infant before they'll trust my German Shepherd. Funny how that turned out.....

  4. ..My very own 1st APBT was gifted to me by Clyde Mason,he was a son to Clyde's double GR.CH.Hog(Colby/Nebletts/ McCoy breeding),I was a kid then so it took my cousin's care to keep him alive and well..Once a man/woman sees the traits that make a gamedog so superior over the other dogs,it's over,,,you're addicted...

..thanks for the invite to this site...looks great !!

my very first pit bull. A poorly bred cur, but great athlete. Also the greatest houdini i've ever owned. Sold to me by the son of a new mexico state legislator. The poor guy died of a brain hemorrhage unexpectedly. When i got the dog, i asked him, 'is the mother game?' he tells me, 'oh, yes, she stopped another dog in 15 minutes.' i didn't know any better. 'how about the father?' he tells me, 'he was 115 pounds and killed a horse with the rider on back. he drowned in a canal he fell into'. i didn't know any better. i had a devil of a time getting the papers from the guy's mother after he died, although i only paid $50 for the pup, the runt of the litter. Gave him to a friend as a pet. he killed a large German Shepherd that jumped in my friend's back yard, but otherwise lived a long, mischievous life.

I got my first pit bull when I 9 years old he was a 40 pound grandson of Gr Ch Sly. I begged my father from them day he did the breeding until the day the pups got off the nipple. Lucky for me my birthday was in three and a half weeks. The old man said yeah and I had Rocko for 7 years, I loved that dog.
