New member, and new puppy!

    Hey everybody! My fiance (Midnight Cowboy) and I joined the forums and wanted to share pics of our new little girl. We were up late one night and found her on craigslist. We ended up calling the guy and went out there to pick her up... I felt so bad for her! She's a beautiful little girl! :p

    Her name is "Puma" because when she plays, she pounces like a cat!! She's 12 weeks old... she was dirty, kept in a kennel with her sister. Matt dropped me off at home with her so I could clean her up while he went to get puppy food, a leash, and bowls. I gave her a bath with shallow, lukewarm water and she was a little scared at first, but I had to get the crap off her! I managed to pick off the few fleas she had and drown them.. she was so excited after the bath it was funny! I rubbed her down with a fluffy towel and she loved every minute of it.

    She got so happy in the kitchen she flipped her water bowl, and I grabbed the only clean thing I could find - a pair of pink pants I got from a friend that are HIDEOUS :rolleyes: so that explains the water all over those ugly pink pants she's chewing on! LOL

    puttin garlic in your new pups food will help kill off fleas. I feed my pup raw with garlic cloves included and he hasn't had any visible fleas at all
