Caldwell's Dragon

I have a dog that he is the Grand sire of, just wanted to know if anyone is familiar with this dog.

very good producer and if your dogs sire was taken to a good female then you should have yourself a good dog

 

Thanks, I have heard some stories about him and some of the dogs he produced but wanted to know a little more.

 

I hope others have had better luck with this line than we have. Inbred Male & Female, Dragon to his daughter. Male was a man-biting cur. Female was a popsicle. A whole litter off of a son of Dragon were less than average. Personally would'nt own anything else down from this blood. But if others have had success.... I'm happy for them

 

Caldwells Dragon was a awesome speciment of the breed i have a triple bred dragon dog.

 

I have heard of a few manbiters from a certain kennel in FL. when inbred but when bred to a different family or strain they are good dogs

I agree I have seen alot of tight bred dragon dogs and never have i seen one that was a man biter!!!! There top notch bulldoges i wouldn't trade this blood for nothing.

 

Only a few lucky people have this blood and I guarantee you they will not let it go.

 

I have NEVER heard of any man biters off this line.

 

Like I said. I'm glad others have had better luck. But I Have the scars to prove that Rampage a son of Dragon to Poison; was a man-biter. & I had raised the dog from 3 months on. I hope ya'll keep haveing luck with it. If I run across anymore I'll gladly give it to whoever wants it.

 

Hell, I'd take it in a heartbeat, SFK. Put me first on that list! lol

 

Sorry to hear about that man. Any line out there can throw a hay wired dog though. If it truly is HA you shouldn't pass it on to another though. Put him to rest. JMO

I have a sister to your 50/50 dog Hemi. I had got into a discussion with a few folks who had mentioned some negative things about Dragon But I had heard nothing but good things about him, thats why I made this post. I am loving my little girl, she is a ball of fire!

He has been at rest for a couple of years already. & yes every line has it's good & bad. I just like my percentages a little better than 0 for 9 From 3 different breedings
