naw not a big mayfield fan at all if anything a genaral fan but thats about it lol

  7. Pit General was not a man biter. You may be thinking of Snake ROM who was a man biter.

I don't see where Mayfield has anything to do with this, he did not breed Pit General, General was bred by Burton.

I asked don before he passed the way "r.i.p" this question , he told me that he would get exited when he was faced and would try to bite u on the corner , but alot of dogs are like that ,that dont make them man eaters lol

I think Stratton mentioned that he was in one of his books("World of", I think).

I remember Stratton saying he was a man biter in his book; but mr stratton often got many dogs names mixed up. I guess it isn't hard to do when you have seen the number of dogs he has see .

  12. Mr. Stratton never saw General, never spoke to Don Mayfield and has no idea what he is talking about. He is only repeating stories told to him by other men who are re-telling stories they themselves heard.

A number of my dogs will try and nip you in the corner to try and get loose and cross over. This is not being a man-biter it's just a show of excitement and desire.

Since Don passed away I have seen many old stories all twisted up to the point they hold very little truth in them and I have seen new stories invented that could only come from the mind of a very wild imagination. Kinda funny in a way but sad to see how every day there is less truth in this breed and the bs keeps getting piled ever higher and deeper.
