Has there ever been a blue nose champ?

Has there ever been a blue nose bull dog that showed well? I feel like having a blue is a stigma of sorts in the bull dog world because of the overbreeding of the "bullies".

    History

No one seems to have full knowledge as to how the Blue Pauls were bred or from where they originally came. There was a story that John Paul Jones, the American sailor, brought them from abroad and landed some when he visited his native town of Kirkcudbright about 1770. The gypsies around the Kin Tilloch district kept Blue Pauls, which they fought for their own amusement. They were game to the death and could suffer much punishment. They were expert and tricky in their fighting tactics, which made them great favorites with those who indulged in this sport. They maintained that the breed originally came from the Galloway coast, which lends support to the Paul Jones legend. The first dogs to arrive in the United States with the English immigrants in the mid-19th century were the Blue Paul Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

there is some stuff on blue pauls ,,

Soga to me is suspect! theres some unknown ancestors in her ped!

  19. Yeah that must be it,, Bellon must have bred to a blue bully to get that!! LOL

*it's not that they are unknown, they are just not in the feds-online database

I don't know about any "dilute genes" but folks these dogs are bulldogs not those pet bulls or pretty show dogs or curbred midget hippos with huge heads and their reputations are flawless.

Here is another one that is seal color and I believe all the dogs in his ped are in the database...

People are wasting altogether way too much time on things that have no bearing on the quality of a dog like its color or how pretty it is and too little time breeding a working dog that can improve the breed IMO.
