''Willam Hines brought five dogs from Liverpool, Englang two being Old family . One of these dogs was RAFFERTY who was purchased by
Jack Burke . Rafferty who was 14 pounds, was reputed to be the best fighting dog in ENGLAND. He was either brought to ENGLAND from IRELAND or his ancestors were from IRELAND''

like em both big and small although this day and age i believe smaller is better as you get less funny looks and less people being scared of em...lovely to see a big dog conditiond not a bulldog but is a woman who jogs in my area with a cross breed type of dog thats in seriously amazing condition...can bet ya money no one will be trying to rape her.

Always lovely to see small bulldogs with alot of drive...dream weight would be 30-32lb show weight for a bitch and no more than 40 for a dog...but hey hard enough to find good dogs let alone caring about size :D
