i was wondering who got the best reboy blood i like the redboy stuff but ive heard their known for being soft mouths and that would not be good for a hunter

 

Yes redboys for the most part r soft mouth but what they Lack in mouth they gain in gameness. If u r lookin for a good hardmouth redboy u could always go with redboy jocko cross or one of many other redboy crosses

 

Take your pick of the countless redboy crosses ( jeep, rascal, turtlebuster, jocko and so on)

are you wanting the dog to catch or bay? personally if your using 2 or more dogs on a hog you're gonna want more game and wind than mouth but thats just me.

Are you serious bro?? you really think that "redboy's" are all soft mouth and so so game? they throw high percentages yes but they come with bang too, its inbred and garbage bred stuff that fits the stereotype that everyone believe's about that line, you should take a look at some legit redboy breeders and not peddlers or people who breed for ped... just to go against the popular belief....

Well the first two are Redboy/Sorrells ( a cross ), the third i can't see, and the fourth is Hap who's best production was from crossing.:rolleyes:

 

i am so sick of that "redboy dogs are softmouthed" crap. ive seen plenty and owned a few that could bite a tree trunk in half due to PURE DETERMINATION. bite in my experience comes from upstairs, not bloodlines. i got a little house dog right now thats heavy Deacon and she sure can close her mouth with the best of em

yes sirr...and there are strains of redboy that are very hard mouthed(and plenty of individual red boy dogs that could close their mouths)...right now im thinking bout how i know of a bad bitch which a freak mouth who is double bred hap on her botomside, that i think i might try to get my next pup out of...

imo....i believe he is talking about % wise...every dog has a mouth!!...i have a jeep/redboy that has an alright mouth....but i dont think redboy throughs mouth like an eli dog would.....imo....it doesnt matter to me....i like redboy dogs!!

I'm a little confused as to what you're asking. Yellow (if you're referring to Tant's Yellow)was a Redboy/Jocko dog. Are you asking if anyone is taking their redboy/jocko dogs back into some tight redboy stock?
