Animal Planet probes dogfighting culture

I feel the same way buck lol, they'd get introduced to a hydro-shock round or a couple.....

 

Hey let me start by saying the only exposure I have had to the world of dogfighting is exactly zero! Not gonna try and sound like I know something I dont. I have only seen what has been shown on tv, and that "off the chain" dvd....I like to think I have an open mind when it comes to other peoples culture, and I tend to consider the world of dog fighting as a cultural thing that people have been raised around....I try and respect other peoples culture.

So my question is this...if a respectable dogman has a dog that doesnt want to fight. What does he do with it? Does he give it to a friend as a pet dog, keep it as a pet? Everyone keeps saying that all these documentaries are way off and portraying the truth in an untruthfull light, so is it untrue that if a dogman has a dog that doesnt want to fight, just doesnt have the heart, he either kills it or uses it as a punching bag for the up and comers of his yard?

 

I know this has been quoted a couple times but this is the best post I have read in WEEKS.

going back to original title about animal planet, my kids where watching t.v. tonight and seen the replay of the show from two weeks ago. dont really know how to put it but my 5 yr old and 9 yr old son both came to me and said daddy come watch this stupid stuff on t.v. about pitbulls. i told them i already seen it and both of them at same time said they are idiots, they dont know what they are talking about, just cause people own mills, hanging scales and break sticks dont make them dog fighters, and just cause they are on chains it is for the safety of the dogs and more room to run. yeah i have prolly told them some of this stuff when they ask, but still to me that is sad that little kids realize what is going on. what you guys think of that.

for those of you that dont know me i was the one chuck simmons came in on last week. and when the kids seen him on t.v. they said daddy why didnt you kick his butt. i just responded justice will prevail in the long run, life isnt fair and people are wrongly being accused of stuff everyday, we will just leave it in gods hands out of our control.

update he hasnt been back as of yet. i am home 24/7 watching my dogs cause i have heard of stories what they do. my local animal control contacted me last week and let me know that simmons contacted them about my dogs and that they (local AC) has been out here in past and found nothing wrong with my dogs, and apparently simmons told them he didnt see anything wrong either. but local AC did say if something happens they will be on my side and i asked them to come out and document my yard that day so they will have it on file and i recorded them here with my dogs and everything they said. they have a copy and i have a copy if we have to use it in court if simmons and N&A try to pursue this

and before any of you flip out i was advised this by my attorney

 

good for you man keep up the good work. its great to see people taking a stand against the crooked laws that are set forth against these animals. if only more where as willing to stand up for there rights they would be forced to get there act together an leave people alone. i hope all works out for you an yours.

 

does any one know where i can watch this show online? if so can you pleas post it.

 

they come to my house did yall see the black and white crime scene van in my drive way wonder way didnt the cowards show my dogs,i think it was against the law to even show my yard.when i wasnt even charged with a crime and my dogs were stolen. but did they shwo the part where te van is in my yard.i might be able to sue animal planet now woulndt that be cool.

I believe they should show the good & the bad. Their is more good law following citizens than their are criminals that mistreat the A.P.B.T i know this i see it every day on the job. It would only be fair to show both sides of the story instead of the darkside that the media loves to promote.

 

i wish someone would do a real documentary and show whats its really like. HUH??? Hell naw, not me! R u crazy lol but seriously people only know what they are exposed to right???

 

the way i see it dogfighters are sick bast..ds in the last couple of months there have been dogs found dead dumped by rivers covered in bite marks not were i live but in a city in the uk how can someone kill a dog its not a very nice life they lead have to fight for there lives i have 2 staffys and mine are part of the family they follow my 2 year old son every were ive seen off the chain the fella loved his dogs that much why didnt he show his face the likes of the dogfighters over here they should put them in a pit and let them see how it feels to be ripped apart and nave ti fight for there lives and be thrown away like a bit of rubbish .
because what i have seen its sick and barbaric dog will only do what its master trains it to do .
its because of dogfighting why they are banned over here but you can still get them

I cant say dog fighting is right but from what i see hell they have a fighting chance, with these so called animal rescuer they dont have a chance just like william panicks dog they were taken in dec.charged with 18 count of dogfighting 18 counts of animal crulety left all the other pets to fin for thereselves while william spent two weeks in jail.now the hsus of stlanta,want to put them down said it is costing them 29,000.00 to keep them up.WHAT they had no probable cause,i guess they will have to die next week. what a damn shame

 

everyone knows that people who fight their dogs are also in to drugs and prostitution, and rapin and beatin women and children. murderers...:dogkiss:
