australian apbt

Guys,

Came across this website whilst cruising around looking at some bits and pieces, thought i should join!

I got my girl by pure luck.. As you can imagine its not easy over here to find real apbt's, as most are mixes or staffies in disguise. This girl came from the eastern states (im in western australia), she was sourced by a local guy who subsequently ended up in jail - for an unrelated incident - and as a result couldnt keep the dog... She came to my knowledge through a friend of a friend who let me know there was a dog available, and if i wanted to take her, i could have her for free! Of course i jumped at the opportunity, went to the guys house to pick her up and as soon as i saw her i was super excited. She was perfect!

Now im the first to admit i just want a pet, im not into the sporting side of things, however i do have an interest in the historical aspect of it as its good to know where your dog comes from and what they were bred for. I was assured that she came from a reputable kennel, her brother was in fact proven a couple of weeks ago, taking his first win. The guy i got her from told me what bloodline she came from (i got no papers) but i dont know enough about it to know if its genuine or not...

Either way i just wanted to say 'g'day' and give you a look at her - Her name is Leela and at the moment is 15 months old and weighs about 27kgs.

hey bro shes a nice looking dog!! I to am in Western Australia..Yea pedigree pit are hard to come by over here in Auss i was lucky enough to come by my gurl who has ADBA papers, bt i guess it all comes down to who you truly know.
Iv been told by a few dogmen in NZ that there are few good breeders here but they are underground because of the laws nd shizz...

i to like to learn and gain knowldge about this breeds history..IMO i think its one of the keys to owning & raising this breed is that u must have a ferm knowldge about there history.
Like i read in someones signature "TO KNOW THIS BREED YOU HAVE TO LEARN, KNOW & UNDERSTAND THEIR HISTORY" One of the best sayings iv come across..

id keep you mouth tightly shut buddy. youve allready said too much by saying her brother had a win. there is only one type of legal competing in australia these days and unless it was in that the win you are speaking of may land you or someone else in jail.

Gooorgeous color, fawn with black mask and light eyes... A perfect combination.

 

she has a ginormous tongue! she a pretty gal though. luv those goof ears.

 

how did the STP's Tag bloodline workout for you guys,is it popular or kept low down,

 

tag line worked out all right still a bit of it around he was imported at the right time there was a lot of good dogs coming in At that time
