stillwater still in business??

I have been dealing with Stillwater for 5 years now. Actually it will be 6 this coming fall. I have never had anything but positive experiences. That includes my orders as recent as 1 week ago. Then 2 weeks before that.

He is just like the rest of us. He has a life to attend to. The man has a job to take care of. He has things come up in his personal life just like all of us do.

IMO the quality of his products are worth making an extra phone call or 2 if you have to. He uses solid stainless steel buckles and D-rings and his o-rings and swivels are 2nd to none. Quality that goes into his products is what could save you a yard accident or the lives of one of your dogs one day.

Plenty more fish in the sea i say! I dont understand this "second to none" BS RUBBISH! In no way am i saying his products are unworthy, but FFS does anyone know a tradie. Hell my old man used to make rope collars with stainless steel bull snaps, SHIIIT guess his must have been second to none too. I know boilies and welders that put together O rings and swivels in the same fashion. Wait on, they must be second to none aswel. It all seems like hype to me and im yet to see a reason for re ordering his product when i know for dam sure i can get it in my own backyard for half the price.

 

I can't speak about his hardware (I've never bought it from him, for me it's just as easy to take a trip to a local hardware supplier), but his collars are second to none and in almost 15 years I've been into these dogs I have never found a better made collar for the price he sells them. Shane will have my buisness for as long as he is operating his.......

Shipping was always quick but I wont buy another collar from them. I've had them stretch on me and the prong fell out on one of the 1.5" 3ply I was using as a chain setup collar.

 

Well i can't base an opinion on his collars cause i couldn't get him to return my messages/email's.So i took my business to O'brien's and i couldn't be happier.

 

I've gotten good equipment from him and in a timely manner. All you guys ragging on him may just be calling at a bad time. I didn't have a problem getting him to answer or help me with decisions on his equipment.

Stillwater doesnt like black people *laughing* (im playing)... i called he said he would call me back in 30 mins... waited a few hrs I called back no answer... no problem... just order online... received receipt of payment... no receipt of anything else *laughing*... send emails and left telephone msgs... just want an idea of when to expect it... quality looks great but like rallyracer said communication is the key

Ordered another lot of collars last friday. And getting the harness with removable tracers next. Always good here!!

 

I had a good experience once and not so good the second time.I called 3 times and emailed 3 times.I received no response,so after a month I canceled my order , it was a small order.I will stick with O'B and I will try Wardog's collars.Things do happen ,but communication would be nice.

 

unless you're doing big orders, I doubt he cares to get back to you...quality products though

 

Horse shit. I ordered a batch of hides. Got right on it and came promptly. I hardly call that a big order. A couple weeks later I ordered one single harness. Same thing. Prompt service.

 

Just ordered $200 worth of collars on Sat.

 

I dont doubt you'll get the products...it's just that through experience I'm more confident that he wont return emails or calls as soon as you would like

as long as you dont care for any sort of customer service, stillwater is legit, but there are others who have equally good product and also care to make you comfortable with your transactions
