Lost a good one

just wanted to let everyone know that this weekend a wonderfull dog was taken from my yard while i was away from the house. it is the dog that is pictured below in my signature. i am doing all i can to try and find who took the dog and get him back home where he belongs but as the days go on it is looking less and less likely to happen. although his papers don't do him justice he was an honest bulldog, and he had the heart and desire of a champion. though he is gone for now he will never be forgotten, solo, i can't hardly sleep at night knowing your not back there. every time i see that empty chain my heart drops. wherever you are just keep scratching.

Sorry For Your Loss It Is A Shame That Someone Would Steal From Your Yard

 

Keep your eye on the local and surrounding area papers.Watch for posts on breedings,and keep your ears open. Sometimes, when its a good dog, people can't keep their mouths shut for long. Good Luck.

 

Sorry to hear about your loss, I hope you get Solo back... I would also check the shelters... someone stole my buddies house dog about 1 1/2 years ago, rolled him, and left him... we found him in a shelter and he has him back now.

 

our shelter here does not adopt out pitbulls and he has some scars on him from previous hunting trips so if he makes his way to the shelter here he would be put down. but thank you all for you concern and kind words. and i will not stop the search any time soon. he has proven his worth to me beyond what i can put in words. he never once gave up on me and i will not give up on him. i just hope that one day i will again have the privilege of feeding this wonderfull dog.

I am so sorry to hear that some yellow little snake has stolen your dog, I truly hope you find and punish them.!!!

If they're not being poisoned by some s.o.b, they're being stolen. Seems to be happening frequently on this forum. Good luck man, hope you get him back where he belongs.

 

i got a friend who had a dog stolen form him. He just found out that it was sold to someone in a neighborhood not far form him. If he finds the house any suggestions how he can get him back legally

 

It had to have been some one that the dog knew to just let them take him. I hope you find out who did this and they get what they deserve!

 

Legally? I would just go on the yard and take my dog back.

 

Man I'm Sorry to hear that. I hate dog thiefs. My Brother has had a number of dogs stolen from him. The last, is a dog named 10sion. Guy's that he helped out a hell of alot, stole the dog from him. I would bet someone that you know and are close with stole that dog. The first person that poped up in your head most likely is the one that stole your dog. So when you hit them up about it don't believe them when they say they didnt steal your dog.

The people that stole my brothers dog played it off when he hit them up about his dog. They were the first people he called about it even and they told him they would never do that to him. They were homies. They kept up the lies tell he moved out of the state. Now they post the breedings they have done with the dog. When my brother had him he only bred the dog 1 time. Now he has like 10 breedings on peds online.

So keep your eyes open!!! Your dog is closer then you think. Look at those you think are close to you and you will find your dog. Go to every yard you know of and the ones you don't know ask if you can go to their yards. If they tell you no. Then they are trying to hide something.

Not really. I didn't know the person who stole my dog - they were just scum, I otherwise would have never met them because they were living on the other side of town from me. My dog had NO ability to tell good from bad people, and treated EVERY stranger like a long lost friend.

1) You could try telling the police. Wait for them to turn up and hope in the meantime the person who stole your dog doesn't move it. Your friend may also have to prove that they are the legal owners. It may be difficult to prove the dog was stolen in the first place if they decide to press charges. Or 2) If you know it's your friends dog for sure - why doesn't your friend simply walk in and take it back. That's how I got mine back, that seemed to do the job.

 

HE doesnt know exactly which house the dogs at but is checking into it
