there are still pure sorrell dogs out there that are very good.
just cause you dont hear about them in forums doesnt mean there arent any.
i had the pleasure to meet an oldtimer that has been breeding the line for 20 years at the nj adba show and his dogs were like tri color lions! im not saying the line has not been watered down a bit but there are good ones out there

  9. The Sorrells bloodline is a very popular family of dogs down here south of the equator. The main breeder, Cuban Kennels is considered one of the hardest men to beat. He has been selectively breeding his Sorrells family of dogs for 30 years and when you face him you better bring one that is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to win.

We ourselves have a couple of Midnight/Sorrells dogs (Ch Curly & Ginsu 2x) that are littermates to this one: http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=printPedigree&dog_id=15667 ,, and a son off of those two named Mandinga 2x that has produced some good hard biting dogs.

We also have a litter 2 months old out of our 1x Eli/Heinzl bitch to the Midnight/Sorrells dog named Mandinga 2x we are hoping will be worth the time and feed.

**It's not so much the bloodline but the person behind it that makes the difference.
